Beyoncé: "New Album Will Sound Live"

[img:$uid]http://i56.tinypic.com/hvov42.jpg[/img:$uid]

November 19, 2010

Beyoncé has revealed that her new album will be recorded with live instruments.

The 'Single Ladies' singer, who is currently working on her fourth studio set, said that she is trying to create her own genre of music with her new record.

In a behind-the-scenes clip of the singer's latest television advert for Vizio, she said: "I love to dance, I love to sing... I'm actually in the studio writing songs and producing [at the moment].

"I have a lot of live instruments that I'm putting into the tracks to change the sound and make my own genre of music."

Beyoncé's forthcoming album, slated for release next year, follows 2008's I Am...Sasha Fierce, which sold over 5 million copies worldwide.

I'm laid out with that one. I wish there was video of her actually saying that. I'm thinking it will sound much like what we've heard before.

It will nod She makes the same album over and over but always tries to make it seem like she is 'evolving' as an artist.

She would have to have producers capable of doing the kind of music she wants. Darkchild is going to give her synthy beats and keys. Bryan M. Cox is gonna give her big percussion and rave synths. That's all they play!

Seriously if she can't find some people who play guitars well, and a drummer, all she's going to have again is keyboards and variations of the same synth sound.

To be fair, her past albums have popularized certain sound trends.

How many people have eaten off the sound "Irreplaceable" since it came out? (Including Beyonce herself)

I'm kind of intrigued by this idea, because Beyonce is a good singer, and she has the vocal chops, but someone hit it on the head, in contemporary r&b producers like Bryan Cox, Darkchild, Timbaland will give her music that is largely hip-hop inflected and not enough soul. James Poyser, Questlove or a producer like that who use live instruments on the recordings they produce would be a good fit. And also, I think Jay-Z is all right as a emcee, but please leave him off the project. No verses from Jiggaman. She has decent touring band, so she might use them in the studio.

Is Irreplaceable the one where she's singing to the left, to the left?

I think I'd enjoy her music more if she stopped acting like what she's doing will be anything cutting edge. I like some of her music but sometimes I think her comments don't really prove anything. She's already working with the producers who helped her with her "I Am..." album so I don't know how it'll sound "live" unless her band played on all the tracks.

I thought she was pregnant.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Her mother Tina Knowles and Jay-Z denied that already.
