Cher's new song | |

I've never been a huge Cher fan, but I do like about 4 of her dance songs. That's about how many I have in my music library. Her voice is very unique and original, but it doesn't attract me much. My faves are remixes of A Different Kind Of Love Song, Believe, All Or Nothing, and Dov'e L'Amore. Love her as an actress! [Edited 11/14/10 5:43am]

i think she sounds lovely.
as most of the young crowd cannot fathom cher without believe beats, this song is screaming for a faggy peter rauhofer remix. as someone who remembers when she could carry a non-disco tune, it is a nice return to form.
i am pretty hyped for this flick just because cher is in it. i think she is one of the last and ultimate iconic american performers.

Same here. Would see the movie for Cher. I hope there are dance mixes!
I like Christina, but she wouldn't get me to the movie theater.

lol. Yep. She did "I didn't know my own strength" on Whitney's last album and of course Aerosmith's "I don't want to miss a thing". She has a distinctive style.

I like it! I actually prefer Cher's "rock years" (1987 onwards) over her "Believe"-phase, so I am glad that she has announced her new album will be more rock than dance Just like the white winged dove...

I'll listen to it later. I actually like Cher's rock stuff. That's how I first got to know who she was long before the "Believe" era. I actually love her '60s and '70s material with and without Sonny.

Decent, but lifeless track...
I'm not a big Cher fan anyway, I enjoy the Sonny&Cher stuff, her early-70s albums and some 80s and 90s singles, that's all...

If she has a #1 hit with it, I think that would be a first to have a charting #1 single over 5 decades.

Like Timmy, I really like Cher's rock stuff but this sounds good, I'm going to listen to it again.

its definitely adult radio friendly if anything. i can totally picture this playing in subway (while eating sandwiches with devante) or looking at greeting cards at walgreens or when i'm on hold with at&t.
i think the cher i like is the one that tells the man he ain't shit. she did this song called "don't come cryin' to me" that just blew my mind a while back. she can be really convincing with that. i hope that she steals the show in this movie or at least has a really memorable role.

Congratulations to Cher for her Golden Globe nominations! Her and Christina are each up for song and movie in the musical/comedy category.
