If You Listen To Blood On The Tracks It Can Only Mean...

Heartbreak! sad but the perfect album to listen to

The album is just perfect... i feel Dylan's emotion, and delivery it's haunting.

I know i don't want to be a modern music hater, but this is something modern music a lot of it does not have anymore. Stripped down raw production with pure emotion and poetry i love it xmas

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

The NY Sessions bootleg is worth tracking down, and I think Dylan recorded in a studio in Minneapolis Prince had also used.

I'm a fan of his rock/roots albums (Highway 61, BlondeonBlonde, Wesley Harding, Love & Theft, Desire, etc), but I gotta admit that Blood On The Tracks is easily the best singer/songwriter album of the 70s, and surely his best 70s album, even if I can barely connect with the lyrics (I usually don't like "heartbreak" or "love" albums... or albums about personal stuff).

Idiot Wind and Tangled Up in Blue are probably my fav tracks of the album...

I love the versions of Idiot Wind and If You See Her Say Hello on the Bootlegs Series vol 1-3

Idiot Wind was the song that clicked for me where I finally felt like "Ohhhh, that's why people think he's awesome."

Blood on the Tracks is a true masterpiece! It's one of the top 10 best albums ever! Each song is amazing and heartfelt. The lyrics are beautiful. No one writes like Bob!

I've listened to this album at least 300 times in my life and I never tire of it.
