It's a shame that so many of today's artists are nothing more than lame copycats.Instead of trying to be "the next Michael Jackson",why doesn't Usher aim to be a unique,one-of-a-kind performer with his own fresh ideas? rolleyes Legendary artists cannot be duplicated. There will never be another Michael Jackson.

He's far from Michael Jackson anyway. I ain't never heard no hard jams like "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" or "Working Day And Night" coming from his ass.

Andy is a four letter word.

Usher and I were cool up until 8701. He lost me at the beginning of the Confession saga. To me, it was the start of him becoming a fame whore and using his personal life as a means to sell a record. Confessions was tied with the break-up with Chilli, Here I Stand was declaring his love for Tameka, Raymond v. Raymond was saying deuces to Tameka. I wish artists would just go back to keeping their private life... private. He will never be "the new Michael." No one will EVER be the New Michael. The time of having great musicians like Michael Jackson, Prince etc has sailed. They are the set in stone moments that made music great. So enjoy the rest while they are alive now because we will never get artists like them ever again.

I don't think Usher is the "New Michael" nor do I think anyone will ever be "the new Michael".

BUT I still think THIS is better than any of the songs off MJ's new posthumous album:

confused dead hmm omg headache censored eek faint

Okay, okay... I truly, sincerely, deeply, faithfully hope this is irony....

Because this Ush+Pitbull garbage worse than my fart... Honestly confused

Everybody is somebody, but nobody wants to be themselves.

I will have to agree. "DJ, Got Us Falling in Love" was the ultimate sell out in my eyes. Usher was quite upset with the lackluster sells of the previous album and this album seems like where he said "fuck it, I'll just do what's popular". He definitely went the popular route with producing a synthpop and dance electronic sound with this song. Most of the time I like electronic pop but this just seems out of character for Usher and looked forced.

And am I the only who thinks he's dance moves seem kinda lame now?

I think OMG was then DJ just took the cake lol He's going where the money is. But I agree with you I think with Here I stand he tried to stick to just R&B but usher is about the sales.
