So let me get this straight, You don't like a lot of Michael's music because he "hee-hees" too much?
Well, it's all part of his music being over-done and I don't like music that is over-done. Also I don't think his latter music has age well. OFF The Wall still sounds fresher than Bad and Dangerous. "Let Me Show You the Way to Go" which is well over 30 years old, sounds fresher than practically everything he did in the last 20 years of his career.
Exactly!

Am I the only one who thinks that the Ghosts project is probably the most ambitious long-form video/short film he ever did? I mean, I think this has to be the greatest music video ever made... He went all out on that one.
I adore Ghosts,Esp. the choreograpy!

There are talks of turning Neverland into a music development center for teens. I don't think the estate has rights over Neverland.. or do they? I know it can't just sit as a barren place forever.. but at the same time, if you turn into any type of production.. you run the risk of tarnishing Michael's legacy and ruining the integrity of the place (just like his new album). Can't they just do what they did to Graceland? Have tours for fans there instead? Keep it light and simple... no greedy business people allowed.
The owners of the Neverland Ranch -- the former home ofMichael Jackson -- want to turn the property into a teenage music haven.
TMZ has learned Colony Capital wants to develop a business plan to turn Neverland into a small music institute -- similar to The Juilliard School in NYC. The plan is to teach teens all aspects of music, including writing and performing.
Colony wants to turn the property into a campus, in which scores of teenagers -- rich and poor -- can learn the trade that made Michael Jackson a legend.
There are two big stumbling blocks. The first is making sure Santa Barbara County will sign off on such a project.
The second -- and bigger issue -- is whether Colony Capital can use Michael Jackson's name to promote such an institute. TMZ has good news for Colony .... sources directly connected with the Michael Jackson Estate tell us, "It's an interesting idea and we'd be open to it."
lol and As far as Neverland Michael was done with that place , I'm not really into them making it a graceland etc. Leave it alone
^^ Considering Michael still had a 50% ownership over Neverland then I would think the Estate does have a say in how it is used, especially if it is turned into anything that is remotely MJ related with regard's to name, image etc.

That’s fine and dandy I was just stating my opinion. Just think it’s pointless that people would want to visit it since a lot thought there was harm being done in that place. I'm more into the music aspect of him though.
Lady Gaga makes a reference to Michael at her Monster Ball show at the O2

I only went to the part when she killed Santa when I watched it yesterday LOL. What she said about Michael?
She said "I love you too.... dammit Michael!!!" I dont get it.

Isn't she just shining her spotlight on fans and reading their signs because she says "work that christmas sign" referencing the fan that holds up one. I just took it as she recognised a fan in the audience called Michael as she then goes on to name other fans she sees in the seats.
I didn't see it as an MJ reference but I might be missing something.

She's playing at the O2 and she was supposed to open for Michael for the This Is Is tour
I don't think it was ever confirmed that she was supposed to open for This Is It. She was considered as others were, correct me if I'm wrong.

I remembered hearing there were talks but I don't think nothing was concrete as Gaga makes it seem to be. She was also supposed to be working with Michael on his new album allegedly prior to June 25th.
The perfect prom date. Anyone know where this pic is from?

She didn’t say anything people heard that Michael liked her and ran with it. She talked about it on larry the king the most she talked about it.

That's what I was trying to talk about. Other than that I doubt the video was a reference to Michael.

I wonder if this is from a video. I have to say, I love how he looks with little makeup.
Does anyone know what performance this is from? Looks like 30th anniversary show

Oh yeah I heard parts of the Michael album. I think it sounds like crap. The only song I liked was Hold My Hand. Sure doesn't seem something which MJ would have given a stamp of approval too.
As far the singing controversy- fake or not, the songs suck for the most except Hold My Hand.
