After showing up three hours later for her recent in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Ms. Hill has been repeating the same pattern for several shows around the country.

This past weekend upset fans reportedly walked out of an Atlanta show after the "Miseducation" singer showed up three hours late to the sold-out event, leaving concert-goers "confused" and "overwhelmed" upon stating that she was burnt out over “playing the same music night after night.” During her performance, Hill reportedly asked fans to participate in the music, but the crowd found it difficult to follow along since they were newer songs.

"Nobody could participate because NOBODY knew the music!" a fan in attendance told Sandrose.com on why they walked out. "Everybody was looking around like 'WHAT SONG IS THIS???[sic]'"

Following the the Atlanta performance, Lauyrn continued the tardiness at a weekend concert at The Pageant Concert Nightclub in St. Louis where fans waited for a trio of hours before her arrival.

Despite her behavior, her tour continues to sell out venues and her next performance is scheduled for Tuesday at First Avenue & 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis.

How the fuck is she "burnt-out" she was sitting on her ass for a decade, she should have 10 albums done at this point, if she was an artist. I mean the only thing i will give her is that she has to play what she's got, but to say you are "burnt out" wtf have U done to be burnt out about?

The woman obviously has some mental issues to think she can keep folks waiting for 3 hrs to hear some shit she did in 1998 There's no way n hell I'd pay to see this mess

And doesn't she still owe another album with Sony and it's been almost 13 years? I can't excuse her tardiness for her being burnt out.

lauryn has this false sense of entitlement because people but her up on this huge pedastal after only 1 album. she made a great album but she has never been a great singer imo and i dont know exactly why she was elevated to this legendary status.i know a girl who was just on the road with her as her hair stylist and she treats her employees like shit, i told the girl not to tell nobody she do lauryn's hair because she always looks a mess.

Well i have had alot of issues with Lauryn over the years, but, i think this is just another part of who she "thinks she is", she seems to think she is a genius because of praise and this and that, my problem is let your WORK talk, and she has no work to talk, IM not surprised Lauryn makes these statements because she has always been that type of artist, talka not a walka. This is the same person who said while the "Score" was selling shit loads, that the Fugees wanted to give back all the money from album purchases by "white" people, so pretty much everything since then coming from her mouth has been nonsense, i mean people talk about Alicia Keys seeming SO full off herself, what do you call this woman?

She is touring only for the money. She now knows that Rohan had a second family down in Tallahasse, FL (with a wife) whilst carrying on an affair with her. Hill is beyond crazy. I wouldn't wait for 3 hours for any effing act. The Misgivings of Lauryn Hill or should I say Ms. Lauryn Hill as she demands promoters bill and advertise her now.

True because she looks frightening on this tour...seriously.

This chick's fame hit her like a Mack truck....she was viewed as being "authentic" in a Britney world cira '98-99, but she was no less packaged than any other mid-late 90s act IMHO. On one hand she resents the stupendous/unrealistic expectations that her fans have of her, yet she believes the hype herself and developed something of a Messiah complex. It's like she's acting out some passive-aggressive thing w/ her audiences w/ these late showings. I figure her audiences know what they're getting so their complaints are a bit .

This is a "buy the ticket, take the ride" kinda thing. Her fans seem gluttons for punishment and she's glad to deliver it....3-5 hrs LATE!

Fans need to stop buying tickets to the shows.They need to send a message that this behavior is unacceptable.Lauryn is great and all,but she needs to get off her high horse and show a little more respect to her fans.

You got that right. She is probably paying all his child support for all the kids he's fathered with other women, not to mention spousal support and her own damn bills. She should've ditched his ass years ago instead of spitting out of his kids.

I had the chance to buy tickets for the Jan 22 show, but declined.

I think any artist that turns up that late should foot the bill for every audience members' taxi ride home after they miss the last bus/train at the end of the night.

She strikes me as one of those acts like D'Angelo who has delivered a very small body of work (good but small) over a decade ago, but is treated like an icon. Are people just nostalgic? exactly, her ass should be grateful that people actually pay to see her in 2011, from what i've seen of her over the last few years she sounds a mess, looks a mess and acts a mess...she's just a mess period and have the nerve to be arrogant. its crazy how hard working artists like say beyonce for instance will get alot of hate thrown at her but this ungrate lauryn is treated like some kinda musical god.

It's about fans being in denial about their fav star's ability to comeback as they once were and not wanting to grow up themselves IMHO.
