That album wasn't as good as his old albums , Champagne Life , One In A Million , Crazy Love (feat. Fabolous) and What Have I Done (I feel is the best one on it) I liked. He didn't have good promotion aka people didn't care.

I haven't seen him on anything but the AMAs and ST awards. What about "The View", "Wendy Williams" and other talk shows he usually visits to promote? Sounds like he has his priorities mixed up.

He is one of the most insincere artists in the R&B game.

His songs are nothing but a string of platitudes and he never strays from them.

He was on Dancing with the stars, 106 & park (like that means anything ) and some other things I believe. The promotion was no where near like his past albums and plus that superhero theme he was going with was just not him.

I don't get the story in the album. I don't get why he just can't get up there and sing a song from the album.

I get that, but instead of him getting on the AMAs and doing 4 30second snippets, he should have done ONE song and forget trying to tell the story. He's trying to sell records here. Not tell a story in a 3 or 4 minute segment.

Thing is Ne-Yo really doesnt have a "loyal" following, lets be real, he isnt Pearl Jam or REM or Springsteen or Prince, he is Ne-Yo and he isnt anything "special" and he isnt doing anything on another level, those artists i mentioned ARE and still are.

Its just the common thing now to blame the "hackers" sorry but i have been seeing this word WAY too much lately, i havent seen the word Hacking this much since computers came out, but now once again its the buzz word, the cool thing to pin album sales on. My question to Ne-Yo is "are you happy with the work"? if yes then good, thats why you are doing, when you base your work and feelings about your work, on chart positions, airplay, video play, then you need to quit. Serious, i tell this to actresses and actors who audition to be part of my theatre and film work, "why are you here? if you acting to make money, then quit, quit now, if you cant deal with losing on a constant basis, then quit, go work at a 9-5 job"
