You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Basically to me this was the best album of 2010.....played it nonstop, a close second would be the new Elton John/Leon Russell collabo album which is amazing...But my 2010 fave

unfortunately, I've only listend to 2 albums from 2010 (20TEN and Soldier of Love). my audio experiences this year have been old favorites and catching up in 5 years of Howard Stern, despite having bought about 50 CD's by artists I'm into.
the pile keeps getting bigger.

Some songs are new, and 2 or 3 of the songs are remakes from previous Bobby albums. It's different from his previous music in that there are many singers and not just him. Here's a thread with some of the songs. Copy the link, because clicking on it goes to a non related thread.

Terrific list, especially the Tame Impala release. Absolutely killer album.
I'm still working on my list - probably wait until I hear the new Duran Duran and a couple other things that I've purchased but haven't really played much yet. * * *

And I do not dare to say it, but some things they do sound kinda Prince like. Heavily influenced by the 80's that's for sure. The man of science has learned to believe in justification, not by faith, but by verification - Thomas Henry Huxley
