I just downloaded the Greatest Hits album lol

I've always liked British pop from the 80s but I'm just now really trying to listen to it all (Bros, Brother Beyond, Mel and Kim, Howard Jones, etc)

"I owe u nothing" (the 7" remix by Ric Wake) is one of my all time fav tunes LOL. Theres a 15 minute remix of that song, that mixes both the Shep 12 inch and Ric Wakes. I own it but can't post it as youtube doesn't allow anything over 10 minutes.

Massive guilty pleasure but I really love their dumb anti drugs song "shot in the back" (the synth solo reminds me of "jump" by Van Halen LOL) off their 3rd album. That and the slightly odd pop track "Break My Silence". Both from their bomb 3rd album "Changing faces".

Heres a decent cut from Matt Goss' solo album "the Key". All about the production baby.

Isn't the song a tribute to their sister who died in a car crash or something? I vaguely recall this being mentioned at the time or maybe I'm confusing it with another song...

LOL. I really like "Sister". Whilst me and orger Chico both really like "life's a heartbeat".

But yeah if you liked the faux pop metal of Janet's "Black cat", you should dig "shot in the back". It's so corny, but alot of fun LOL. Not many songs I can think of have a guitar and synth solo side by side LOL.

Also, like Milli Vanilli, their 12" remixes are often worth a look. Inparticular "I owe u nothing" (both shep's and Ric Wake's version) and Shep's excellent "Drop the boy" remix.

Milli Vanilli had some really good remixes.

Lots of samples....one started with a sample of Bob George.
