^ I hope that doesn't happen. How embarassing would that be? The kids still wouldn't get any money.

I'd hate to see what would happen to his skin and hair once he got locked up. I don't think they sell soul glow, blue magic and crisco in prison do they?

No, he'll probably settle for black tar though lol for his hair at least lol

Jermaine Jackson owes so much in back child support his driver's license has been confiscated, and he's not getting it back until he antes up around $100,000.

Click the image to open in full size.

TMZ has obtained court documents showing Jermaine owes $91,921.55 in child support for Jaafar and Jermajesty. $3,000 a month really adds up.

The docs, filed by the L.A. County Child Support Services Dept., suggest Jermaine hasn't been very forthcoming on his income stream. According to Child Support Services ... Jermaine claims his monthly income is $1,448 per month, but never filed the proper paperwork to support it.

The Department doesn't want to give Jermaine his driver's license back until he pays in full. We could not reach Jermaine for comment.

Pretty interesting ... Jermaine's baby mama, Alejandra, has just been kicked out of the Jackson family homestead in Encino and she's none too pleased.

Will Alejandra seek revenge?

Stay tuned

It doesn't make any difference what Jermaine's has, had, lost, gets, or made; pay for the support of your kids. As someone said, if it means taking a job at Poco Loco whatever, all honest work is honorable. If he's really broke, than show the court he can't afford $3,000 a month they'll reduce his support.

nod

He's gotta stop being so lazy and get out there and WORK.

The kids are living with mother Jackson, at least they were when Oprah did her interview with her a couple months ago. Looks like this could get a little messy..or at least messier than it already is. Is this the mother that also has children by Randy?

Not to mention his ass is always over in Bahrain and Dubai...them ain't exactly discount vacation destinations. Whether he's getting dough via gifts from his rich oil and royal friends or just plain fame ho'in (like he does here in Germany every time a toilet opens in tribute to his brother), he's got to be gettin some kinda money, some how, some way. Hell, Latoya with all her wacky k-list foreign endorsements for products that never see the American light of day keep her well-off (heffa used to net a million bucks+ for endorsements)...I can't believe he's not workin' it like that.

I am not talking sorely of their Motown years. They actually sold more albums with Epic and got a better royalty rate. With Triumph and Destiny they practically wrote and produced the albums themselves. After the death of MJ those albums sold millions world-wide. Also The Jacksons tours were quite lucrative. If they invested well they shouldn't be in this situation. Jackie has never gone bankrupt, so he obviously was wiser with his money. Jermaine was never part of the Jacksons, but he produced other artists, as well as having his own success.

sorely? you mean 'solely'? as i pointed out, destiny and triumph are only two albums, and while they may have negotiated a better royalty rate at epic, let's say even 10%, everything is mitigated by the fact that those albums did not sell nearly as well as you're implying. if wiki's info is correct, destiny sold 2 million units worldwide. at a 10% royalty rate, that still is only $200,000. double the royalty rate, and you're only talking $400,000 (and we all know the jacksons didn't have no damn 20% royalty rate). in the wake of mj's death, they may have moved another million units, but that money has to be split five ways. as i also pointed out, certain members of the j5 may get more because they wrote songs, but i doubt 'shake your body' is a lucrative as 'billy jean' in terms of royalty payments. i know that the brothers toured, but lucratively? no. you're clearly unaware that katherine jackson came crying to mj in '84, begging him to do the victory tour with his brothers because the family needed the money. the family proceeded to soak mj's fans who were turning up to see him, not his glorified backup singers, with high tix prices. just because jackie hasn't declared bankruptcy means nothing. it means he's lived within his means, which is something a lot of people, rich and poor, are able to do on a daily basis, i would say most people on the org. it proves absolutely nothing.

I am not saying the brothers were anywhere near as rich as MJ and I am aware of Katherine begging MJ to tour with his brothers because of money but that doesn't mean they never had any money, it just means they had spent all their money and needed more money. But as you have said if they lived within their means, such as Jackie did , they shouldn't be in the mess they are in now. They did alot, they sold millions of albums and they toured continuously. The reason why the likes of Jermaine is in the mess he is in is because he lived beyond his means and if he invested his money wisely he wouldn't be in such a desperate situation.

Btw "Shake your Body" is not the only self-penned, popular Jackson song. I mean aren't the Jacksons after James Brown the most sample group ever and I am not just talking about Motown now.

jermaine should have left motown with his brothers b/c doesn't the jacksons made still get paid whenever their albums get bought b/c in 2009 Sony/Epic label on their database have updated the accurate figures of Mj and the jacksons albums sales

The Jacksons: 6,000,000

Goin' Places: 800,000

Destiny: 3,500,000
The Jacksons Live: 2,800,000
Victory: 8,500,000
2300 Jackson St: 750,000

all together they sold over 129 million units ( this includes the jacksons+j5 albums, downloads, dvd/vhs/ and ringtones)

I never realized The Jacksons & Victory did that much.

Jermaine didn't lyrically contribute to "Victory" nor did he compose any of the music. And as far as I'm concerned, he also didn't have much to write on "2300 Jackson St." so yeah it was a bad decision to stay with Motown. He didn't even write his big hits ("Do What You Do", "Dynamite", "Let's Get Serious", etc.).

Someone came at me really rude awhile back on this board because I mentioned that LaToya doesn't really need Michael's money because she's doing the infomercial market in various areas in Europe, Asia, and Africa and they didn't believe me and said "we don't have anything to discuss" lol

See, ya'll, I wasn't lying! lol

Hell, LaToya's first album got re-issued 2 years ago and nobody bought that shit the first time around lol
