Jermaine Jackson could become homeless early next year, because the house he's living in is going up on the foreclosure auction block.


TMZ has learned the 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom Calabasas home Jermaine is renting is on the brink of foreclosure ... set to be sold on the steps of the Pomona, CA courthouse on January 21.
The minimum bid, according to Foreclosures.com, is $2,184,233.

It is unclear if Jermaine even knows the owner is about to lose the house. Under California law, he has 60 days from the time of foreclosure to vacate.

Jermaine -- who has lived in the house for a year-and-a-half -- filed a police report in September, claiming someone stole $150,000 in jewelry, furs and clothes from a suitcase in the house.

And there's more ... Jermaine is behind on child support to the tune of nearly $100,000, and he's asking a judge to reduce his support payments from $3,000 a month to $215 a month.

But one ray of hope. Katherine Jackson rented a mansion just a few blocks from Jermaine's home, so maybe she'll take him in.

exactly. like lowkey said, he should have been out there all these years performing his own songs, coupled with some covers from some of his influences. he (and the other brothers by extension) have been in michael's shadow all these years because they've wanted to be, not because they had to be. as i said before, would as many people have showed up for their concerts as showed up for mj's? no, but it would have been good honest work for all of them.

who i fear for are michael's kids. jermaine's kids have grown up with the expectation that they deserve to be accommodated in the same manner as mj's kids, with the same perks and benefits. they don't. if i make a million dollars, my money goes to my kids FIRST and foremost, not any nieces and nephews. but in mj's family, he was expected to take care of EVERYONE in the same manner to which his hard work had entitled him.

watch what happens down the line; there will be claims on the estate by certain family members, like jermaine's kids, who will claim that the estate cannot cut them off, mj's will notwithstanding, because they have come to have a certain lifestyle which they should not have to give up. mj's kids are going to be harrassed and harangued in the same way their father was to take care of 'the family'.
