Jermaine jackson's Child Support Plea

Jermaine Jackson owes so much in back child support his driver's license has been confiscated, and he's not getting it back until he antes up around $100,000.

Click the image to open in full size.

TMZ has obtained court documents showing Jermaine owes $91,921.55 in child support for Jaafar and Jermajesty. $3,000 a month really adds up.

The docs, filed by the L.A. County Child Support Services Dept., suggest Jermaine hasn't been very forthcoming on his income stream. According to Child Support Services ... Jermaine claims his monthly income is $1,448 per month, but never filed the proper paperwork to support it.

The Department doesn't want to give Jermaine his driver's license back until he pays in full. We could not reach Jermaine for comment.

Pretty interesting ... Jermaine's baby mama, Alejandra, has just been kicked out of the Jackson family homestead in Encino and she's none too pleased.

Will Alejandra seek revenge?

Stay tuned

This is pathetic.I guess Jermaine doesn't understand the concept of "working for a living" disbelief Someone should tell him that he needs to get out there and tour. There are many Old School artists who tour regularly to pay the bills (Howard Hewitt,Jeffrey Osborne,Freddie Jackson, even El DeBarge is out there doing his thing).

Jermaine makes his mother take care of his kids while he apparently sits around and does nothing.

I was 'bout to say the samething. You'd be surprised (maybe not) how many mother's pay their triflin' sons child support Soul. Equal opportunity that goes for these triflin' daughters too.

I don't know if he's lazy and/or thinks it's beneath him to play "smaller venues". I think this is the mentality BlackKnight was speaking of. They don't need to take his licenses - which I think is counterproductive - sentence Jermaine to the county pokey for a couple days or weeks. Maybe the experience of jail can rekindle some motivation to work. wink Those Old School tours artists make a nice chip. I give El, Chico, and James credit for playing anywhere and everywhere. El's has performed at Essense Jazz Festival in a small tent, a YMCA, da clubs, to having a concert in a church. Boy has a lil' hustle in him . . . lol

Exactly nod El was in jail not too long ago but now he's out and playing dates around the country. He's doing what he has to do to pay the bills :work.Jermaine seems to think that, because he's an Almighty Jackson,he shouldn't have to go out there and work for a living.I agree with you,the judge should lock his ass up for a few weeks and warn him that,if he continues to sit at home and not work,he will be put back in the slammer again.

You would think Jermaine being a solo act all those years would have helped him to realize that he has his own catalog he could tour with; Y'know, for the "old school" set. He needs to get serious about earning some money and perform that whole Get Serious album.

nod He's got alot of solo hits that he could be playing. He could get together with somebody like Stephanie Mills and do a tour together, playing small venues.Old School fans love shows like this.

He looks like a total fool when he goes to the judge and says he can't make his child support payments because he "has no income".A damn shame.

A damn shame if it is his ego that kills the touring idea.

Can't tell me he couldn't get an easy Vegas gig too. I already saw him on a uk reality show wearing an afro wig singing to the houseguests, "ABC" by jackson 5 or some schitt. C'mon we know you better than that!! Let me hear "Dynamite" again!

I saw Diana Ross in an arena this year and she was doing songs that weren't even "hers" but the audience doesn't mind. I was one of the youngest people there and the house was full. Of course, Jermaine is not on Diana's level but she is much older and still touring.

You would think, uh confused

Jermaine recorded (I think) 13 studio albums come on now, brotha man has more than Get Serious album he can work with. Hell, throw in a tune or four from the Jackson 5 era. He plays the bass, he needs to get his ass up on the Tube play some of those riff from his albums and his brother and make a DVD. "Jermaine Lessons on the Bass". Do something. lol

I only mentioned "Let's Get Serious" because Motown, as big as it is, cannot disregard that hit when they do retrospectives of the label's 80s output.

And the album idea came from what hip hop legacy acts who need to tour are doing.. They get all the instrumentals together, either a band or DJ, and advertise that they will be performing their entire classic album. Fans break their necks to see that shit.

He could very easily pull out a hype Jackson 5 tribute and remember he was that dude on hits like "Daddy's Home" and "I Found That Girl".

I would love to see that! Sharing the tour with other acts not only secures income from other fanbases but also means you don't have to carry a whole long set on your own.

You know there is a big difference between aging actors and music acts with hits from a long time ago. You can't tell an actress "hey get out on that stage and act that character again", or to keep remaking a movie.

But if a singer or band had music with any sort of impact from yesteryear, they are sitting on a golden egg that could be earning them money for the rest of their lives. People do not forget songs.

The concept is simple.
You have hits.
Advertise you will be performing them.
Make people pay to enter the room before you do.
Sing, which is a natural gift and talent to you.
Leave with their money.

No bootlegging! If it is one thing that we support with our dollars, it is a live show.

I wonder what´s he been doing in the past 10 + years or so. He´s not working, he´s not taking care of his kids? What does he do everyday?

right, he's busy running around 'protecting mj's legacy', somebody need to tell him that his brother's legacy is his music and nobody needs to remind people of the music mj created. jermaine claims he love performing so why not get out there and perform HIS OWN MUSIC, of course he can include j5 classics thats his music too, but we dont need him constantly planning some cheesy mj tribute. you all are right he could easily hook up with a couple other ole school acts and put together a nice lil tour.

its called laziness and ego. plain and simple and it runs rampant among ALOT of performers that have had some hits lots of money and just think that the money should always run in. For a Family that PREACHES family in every BS interview they give, he surely doesnt pay for the family he has, and if he didnt want to have kids, then he should have kept his "friend" in his pants.
