I have to go with AL B Sure his debut album was the 'bomb' but you knew he was a one-hit wonder. Christoper Williams was just as talented and shouldve definitely crossed over because he had the looks and the vocals but AL B. was first to come out I'm sure some people got them confused.

I like the first albums by both of these guys, but didn't really care for their follow-up albums.

I liked all of Al's albums (overall). It took me a while to get in2 them, though. I don't think I really liked "Private Times" until about 3 or 4 years after it was released.
As for Christopher. I liked his first 2 albums ok, but both of them had a lot of filler to me. I didn't really like his other releases. I did like a few songs from his later projects, but the albums sucked. "Not A Perfect Man" (the song) is so damn good to me. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Really? I think Chris's second album Changes is much better than his debut (which is just a great song - "Promises, Promises" - surrounded by filler IMO). As for the third album, I love the song "Dance 4 Me"; it has a great Marvin vibe. In Effect Mode is a stone cold classic. The rest of Al's albums are mostly filler, but I love a few tracks here and there. The real battle between these two should be the first singles off their circa-1992 albums: "Right Now" by ABS and "All I See" by CW. Both are great songs to my ears. This one is quite the contradiction. I remember being put out that she would sing this without Teddy, but recognized how great this night was. Chris is cool, and yeah those hands...and other things. I do love his lower register, just wish it was stronger. Was it really the crack pipe that trashed his career? I watched this at my friend Russ' house - he loved this almost as much as when I dragged him to a Bette Midler concert (Great Big Knockers Tour) and she killed the auditorium with 30 minutes of jokes in between killing some great songs.
