It's official...I'm a fan of Ke$ha!

So I love Ke$ha's new song, "We R Who We R" and it inspired me to check out

her other new songs..and I simply love them. Her music is so fun. She is kinda

like a modern Cyndi Lauper, but a lot more slutty. Either way, I'd take her fun

party music over Lady Gagme anyday. I'm tired of today's artists (Beyonce,

Lady Gagme, etc) taking themselves WAY too seriously. I mean Ke$ha even

mentions Jeffrey Dahmer in her song, "Cannibal" when referencing how she

will eat boys up. falloff But believe it or not, the song is a fun dancing song.

Listen..

I'm picking up her new combo album sometime this week. I love it!

Who else digs her?

Plus, she is pretty hot in my book. smile

She's 100% trash and her new album sucks over her first.

You know what?

I like her too... (hides) lol

I mean I understand the hate others have for her and I'm not a super fan but I like her. I mean, she's just FUN. I love how she's not so contrived like Lady Gaga. It makes her more appealing to me. Honestly, though I don't like her new single that much.. Not as catchy as Your love is my drug.

The Jeffrey Dahmer reference is really offensive.

I kinda got into the Tick Tock song for half a mo...even though I thought her voice and personality was crapola... So, I gave her an open-minded shot and listened to the other songs on her first release... Just the same sing-song crapola without the addictive additives of the Tick Tock song. After that, I couldn't listen. I have zero interest in hearing any more after I gave her a fair shot. So, nobody can accuse me of not listening or having a prejudicial bias against her so-called music. The Tick-Tock song could have been talk-sang by anyone... I WISH Cyndi Lauper would've sang it--it would have been so much better! lol

how different do you think her sound would be if Prince would have produced her debut like she wanted him to do?

It's sure did. Not only was Jeffrey Dahmer a mass murderer, but he was also anti-gay AND racist. Plus all of his murder victims were non-white gay men.

I think it was BlaqueKnight that show me the clip from YouTube to prove a point that Ke$ha rip-off some kid's song and turned it to Tik Tok.

Not to mention a pedophile also. Some of his victims were around the age of 14.

Some might say that's art being daring and 'pushing the envelope'.confused

Don't count me among them though. Apart from breaking into P's house i don't know shit about her and don't think i want to.

On a side note, I was listening to the audio commentary on the film 'Hannibal' and on it Ridley Scott said Dahmers fridge freezer in which he kept body parts ended up getting sold on an auction site online. There's a market for gruesome ex-police evidence apparently.

Yuck.

There's a fine line between pushing the envelope and just being repulsive.

Or just writing a line that isn't as clever as intended.

I found myself listening a few times one of her songs the other day when it came up on a youtube playlist. "Blah Blah", something. I actually enjoyed it, much to my surprise. She's exactly the type of chick you might try to pick up at a bar when you're drunk yourself, not think too highly of her yet still get pissed off when she says "no" to you.

It gets worse. I checked out some of the videos by those guys that did the rap on the song, and I kinda liked that shit too. whofarted

I just have trouble believing anyone in this, uhm, scene is serious about this stuff. I am certainly hoping they are just making fun of the contemporary "party like there's no tomorrow" mentality.

Oh yeah you're drunk. Step away from their music slowly now. Resist the need to click on bullshit. biggrin

Just trying to save you from yourself. lol
