Love For Rufus & Chaka Khan! Now That's Some Serious FUNK! Yassssss! Another Chaka Khan appreciation thread! And, why not, her musical legacy is the bomb! But this one is focused on her days with Rufus. Now, that is some serious FUNK! Just listening to their output tonight and really appreciating like I did when I was a kid. I remember reading in the 70s that Chaka announced she was going to retire by the age of 26. Luckily, for us, she didn't. LOL Show your appreciation for those sweaty funky days of arrogant youth and show your appreciation for Rufus songs like:
