The Blueprint- Jay Z

I have not listened to this album in forever, popped it in today and remembered how good Jay was cool

Kind of got a little tired of him, Blueprint 3 was ok but not great, he's on what seem's like every other rappers song most of the time with unworthy rappers. And not to mention that i have to hear s..t from people if i like him cause of all those Illuminati stuff neutral

Putting all that crap aside, This is a great album

The Rules Back has a great drop in, drop out beat and a nice flow

Takeover is a ruthless stab at Nas who i love btw. Back then 2 great artist's where beefing not like nowadays where every other rapper is ''beefing'' lol

And the samples of The Doors five To One, David Bowies Fame & Sound of Da Police by KRS-One add a great element to the song

IZZO[H.O.V.A] Is a great pop/rap song that got him his first top ten hit

Girls, Girls, Girls is another great pop/rap song that got him a hit

Heart Of The City is a fantastic track with great lyrics and the flow is fantastic.

Other great song's include the beautiful Song Cry, Renegade with Eminem & the great epic closers Mamma loves me & Breath Easy

All in all a fantastic album.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener
