Exactly. I was drinking, trying cigarettes and kissing girls by 17 and it had zero to do with my mom. I did that shit because I wanted to. I am trying to find out what is so scandalous about this. |

Ray J seems more braggadocious than someone who is really what he says he is. He used that porn exposure to revive his "singing career". What a joke.
How does one go from Eddie Murphy to Bobby Brown to Ray J?!
Wasn't Arsenio hittin' thems skins too? I've read that Robert Dinero tried to get at those drawyers as well and that Michael J. Fox used to send her roses by the dozens. It's hard to believe Whitney was the Halle Berry of the 80s music scene.
It was rumored they were, yeah. Don't know about Michael J. though. |

I would be concerned for her social development if she wasn't trying these things. |

Whitney was so lovely... Now they are probably glad they didn't hit that shit. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown |

I've never smoked or drank alcohol in my life. I don't take any kinds of drugs, not even cough drops. Those things are artificial chemicals and not good for your body. I don't know what doing any of that has to do with development. [Edited 12/10/10 8:21am] You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton |

He simply means experimentation - which is totally normal. |

Sounds more like peer pressure to me. I didn't care about fitting in with others. I was a vegetarian (vegan now) in a school full of meat eaters. It's not about peer pressure at all. Two separate things. |

Eddie reportedly did though... but it didn't last long (1989-1990) so I wonder if he saw the early signs that Whitney was already "out of control" or just about to (since her drug use didn't become heavy until after "The Bodyguard"). |

Yeah it's more about finding one's fit. |
