Heads Of State Guy & Blackstreet Detroit Jan 29

If their are any New Jack Swing fans and will be in the Detroit area Jan. 29 you may want to check this show out. Heads Of State (Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, & Johnny Gill) along with both of Teddy RIley's groups Guy & Blackstreet will perform at the Fox Theatre Jan. 29 their are rumors that SWV in particular will join them as well.

Teddy Riley will perform double duty with both Guy & Blackstreet but Chauncey left the group a few months ago after the last show they did in Detroit with BBD. He feels his talents should only be shared overseas and left and made an official move from the US to Sydney, Australia where he lives now.

Teddy tweeted that the Guy & Blackstreet Tour tour is happening 2011 but without Chauncey it will be the 4 real true singers maye that's a diss to Chauncey I don't know

It will be Teddy Riley Dave Hollister Mark Middleton Eric Williams & I don't know about Levi Little. Dave did tweet something about him possibly returning I didn't hear word back from Levi yet. But it's obvious Chauncey will not be there.

Teddy has made ammends with Aaron & Damion Hall and they are working on the Guy album then Teddy will work on the new Blackstreet album. Also Dave Hollister will release his 7th solo album Chicago Winds: The Saga Continues before the new Blackstreet album so look for those releases.

Also New Edition fans Bobby Brown & Johnny Gill will be releasing their new albums in the upcoming months. Bobby's album The Masterpiece is officially set to be released in January so praise the Lord Bobby's new album is finally coming. Johnny Gill's new album will be released around Valentine's Day. Then a Heads Of State album then a 6 man New Edition album. Bobby said in a interview that New Edition and all the splinter acts are coming back to flood the airways in 2011. Also BBD is talking about releasing their new album before all 6 go on the road together hopefully this summer

Chauncey said in a interview it was his decision to move to Australia and try to bring real R&B over there and only wanted to do shows for the folks overseas cause the US crowd was different and he realized this whenever Blackstreet went overseas to tour than the US. He said in the US at their shows even though everyone in Blackstreet was doing great they only wondered where Dave Hollister was and half the crowd in Detroit admitted to almost walking out on Blackstreet until Dave Hollister came out I guess they wanted to save him for his signature song Before I Let You Go so he didn't come out in the beginning as Teddy Chauncey & the fill-ins Sherman "J-Stylz" Tinsdale & Kermit Quinn.

He said everytime he stepped foot onstage in London Japan or Australia he felt the love so I guess he's doing his own thing overseas.

So Blackstreet is now Teddy Riley Dave Hollister Mark Middleton & Eric Williams maybe Levi Little too I know Dave tweeted he's back in good graces with Teddy

I actually would have probably looked forward to the Guy project if for

one Aaron's voice wasn't shot because i actually dug the Guy 3 album

but Teddy's ego killed the album D.O.A. He quit right before or as the

album was released and people are just sick of this song and dance with

them. Blackstreet imo was an even bigger mess. Teddy had his drama with

Dave and Chauncey at one time or another. Their last release was so bad

they really should call it a day.

Nah, Chauncey definitely was booted, I reckon. The Blackstreet saga is stupid - a shame as the line-up I saw playing at the Indigo earlier this year were really good, and that's coming from a longtime Blackstreet fan who nearly didn't go because Mark Middleton wasn't in the line-up. The new singers were great.

I'm looking foward to all of these albums that new Dave Hollister album is gonna be tight. He's working with Teddy Riley, Eric Dawkins, Steven Russell of Troop, City Stevie J. and others.

Guy the producers are Teddy Riley, Steven Russell of Troop, Benjamin Wright etc. Aaron & Damion will be involved in the production & writing as well

Blackstreet same as above and some other writers of course being the members of Blackstreet themselves and others Teddy put on

Johnny Gill is working with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Babyface, & Bryan Michael Cox and maybe some others

Bobby Brown is working on The Masterpiece with Teddy Riley, Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Derek "DOA" Allen, a new producer who he called dope named Benjamin Franklin & a couple of his nephews and he said he & his nephews did the first single don't know the title yet but the snippet I saw of them was dope.

Forget all the issues and things everyone has issues and not perfect.

Heads Of State will work with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and same with the full six man New Edition group when they come together

If you knew about the rat pack with Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis and them they also called themselves Heads Of State and that's what Bobby Ralph & Johnny are trying to be the new rat pack they were joking around and saying they the new rat pack. They would come a Summit meeting and call themselves Heads Of State.

That's where the Summit Tour idea came from and calling themselves Heads Of State you get it now.

Alright the albums are coming it was a matter of Guy & the right combination of Blackstreet getting on page and they are coming.

Not just rumors their is proof cause Teddy Riley & Dave Hollister were seen in the studio out in LA with Steve Russell of Troop working hard.

Also Stevie J. tweeted he's been working at Patchwork Studios in Atlanta with Dave Hollister he produced My Favorite Girl off his Ghetto Hymns album so they working together again and he's also reaching out to Jazze Pha to do some production as well.
