This girl doesn't know who Janelle Monae is. Janelle has the strongest album of this year, better than any Lady Gaga has put out. The ArchAndroid sh!ts all over The Fame. I kinda agree,I'm not a huge Gaga fan but in terms of the pop world she is a refreshing change. Prince is my favourite artist but Gaga is delivering what she means to intend-clear,sharp pop and in those terms you can't really ask more of a performer

Indeed, a lot of people think they are all crap. Others prefer one over the others, because of their vocals, because of their songs themselves, or because of the memories they have attached to the music. Obviously nobody is right or wrong about Gaga being good or crap, those reviews are just opinions too.

Her quote, however, is definitely pathetic, none of those ladies ever hyped their own stuff as much, they might say "it's the best *I* have ever recorded", but I don't believe they ever started to compete with others like that. Gaga is only a hair away from begging the fans to buy the album instead of downloading it for "it's the greatest album of the decade".

Not to mention that she's making sure the press will be hard on her, but she's already preparing to play the victim like "only my Monsters can understand and appreciate me, I'm too good for the conservative people!!!".

Will the bubble dress be making some appearances in videos/performances of songs from this 'greatest album of the decade' because that's the only thing about her that I really care about anymore. To me, her music is mediocre and her image is unoriginal. Her only saving grace is that she's a good live performer with a good voice. The woman relies on shock value like a one legged man relies on a crutch. JMHO.

people who have sold 10's to 100's of millions

even first solo albums like off the wall made about 20 million

and britney spears made about 15 million

'the fame' sold about 4 million after a few months, pretty average for a supposed 'superstar'

obviously, sales aren't everything,talent comes first

but when someones running thier mouths on being 'HUUUUGGEEE' and wanting to sell a FUCKTON

of albums,and then selling just that

It’s not just Red One she’s working with…. He didn’t do that many compared to the last two. And so far she hasn’t disappointed me she makes good pop imo so I will be checking her album out. She need to stop talking about it though.
