25 Greatest Funk Songs Of All Time I want you to list what you think is the greatest funk songs of all time. See how your list differs from mine. My #1 overall favorite is by far Atomic Dog by George Clinton. George also controls my top 5 with Flashlight as #2. My third fave is Super Freak by Rick James. Now here's the complete list:

A list of synth-funk/electro-funk tracks can go up to 100, if the research is deep enough. And we all know that Roger Troutman, Prince, & Afrika Bambaadaa would get plenty of coverage. Even the men of Kraftwerk would get a few namechecks!
