John McCain PUT HIS FOOT ALL UP IN "Behind The Mask" and he did a great job with Much Too Soon.

Would be interesting to hear what McCain did with Breaking News - but guess we never will.

Also as far as another unreleased album - I think one more is doable - and then the rest will be either "duets", or expanded editions of previous releases.

It's a balancing act between preserving the legacy already in the existing releases and showcasing what else was explored.

Eventually a master box set should be released but it will be a die-hard fan offering much like The Ultimate Collection and not something most will get into. Thus they will focus on what releases have broader appeal before doing niche offerings like that.

I want it all! pout lol

There's more than enough material to do a few more albums without having to resort to doing a "duets" album.

The following all need an official release, perhaps with some minor tasteful remixing in certain cases:

Blue Gangster

Slave To The Rhythm

Do You Know

Strawberry Fields Forever

Al Capone

A Pretty Face Is (Duet with Stevie Wonder recorded for Stevie's "Characters" album)

Angel (recorded in 1988, written by Babyface, it has to be a finished song since it was scheduled for a compilation at one stage)

Bassouille (was considered for HIStory but didn't make the cut)

Belong 2 (was scheduled to be on Invincible but didn't make the final cut)

Bottle Of Smoke (recorded for Dangerous)

Do You Love Me (known to have been finished by MJ and Babyface)

Love Never Felt So Good

Eaten Alive (MJ vocal demo of the song later released by Diana Ross)

Get Around (finished for Invincible, didn't make the cut)

Groove Of Midnight

Hot Street

If You Don't Love Me

Serious Effect

Xscape

Maybe We Can Do It (recorded with P.Diddy for the Invincible album)

Men In Black

Michael McKellar

Nightline

On My Anger (recorded for Invincible)

Pressure

Rolling The Dice

Secret Passage

Seduction

Seven Digits

She's Trouble

There Must Be More To Life Than This (with Freddie Mercury)

This Is Our Time

Satisfy You

Victory

What You Do To Me

Work That Body

Innocent Man

Neverland Landing

and these are just SOME of the ones that we know about - there are undoubtedly many others that we don't know about including the ones done with RedOne and Will.I.Am (Will probably won't ever consent to releasing his stuff but RedOne might).

If we assume 10 songs per album, that's already 4 full albums right there, most of which are full completed songs or ones that could be finished in the same way that "Hollywood Tonight" and "Much Too Soon" were finished.

You have a great mind, my brotha from another motha! lol

I just hope they don't milk it, like "Oh hey, heres another greatest hits with one new song" lol lol

It'll be interesting if we find out that the estate don't even have control of the songs Michael did work over the years.

I really need to know the answer to that question, wasn't there enough completed material to finish an album? I really need to know, Why they finished the fraudascios tracks if they really have enough material ? or they don't have enough completed material at all......I wish someone could answer that question.

Here's what I believe.....

For this particular album, they were going for the "last recordings" appeal.

Think about it, with the exception of 3 songs (Behind The Mask, Another Day, and Much Too Soon), all the songs are from 2004-2009

Maybe the recordings from the 2000s but the 80s and possibly 90s.....I believe they're recorded

still, release it! lol

I'm thinking one of these days we may get like a box set of all of his unreleased recordings and they'll just simply title it Michael Joseph Jackson. Least I'm hoping.

I've always admired the talent of Teddy Riley, but after hearing him lie on Oprah I am terribly disappointed.

Have to say I agree.
Haven't seen the Oprah show yet but of course, as we all knew, Teddy and the Cascio's will be defending the fake songs. Such a shame.

The Cascio songs are the only dent on an otherwise great album.

Whats this the 50th consecutive day he has tweated. Honestly he needs to stop and get MJ's name out his mouth just for a little bit. What music artist has there nephew tweeting about them everyday.

As for the Cascio tracks being the dent. Im willing to bet you "Keep Your Head Up" will do better on Urba r&b/hip hop radio than Behind the Mask, Hold My Hand, Monster, Hollywod Tonight which is really not completed.

USA...You got to be hot on Urban radio. You cant just be hot on Kissfm. Thats not enough

Fantastic ain't it? I envision him performing it....It's too doggone bad this song couldn't have been on Thriller. It fits perfectly, and would have rounded the tracklisting to a healthy 10, instead of 9.

And sorry to say this, but Michael's original makes Greg Phillingane's version sound like a joke. lol

Is it just me or does anyone else notice when MJ has to speed up his voice at certain parts of "hollywood tonight" he kinda studders. The vocals start off great, but then theres a couple of parts where im like...what da heck was that.

Maybe it was hard for him to sing fast like back in the days or maybe he couldnt perfect it because of his death.

After enjoying some of the tracks all day, I can definitely say that I'm not convinced of the legitimacy of some of the songs. I'm going to watch the O interview in a bit, but as far as the vocals on the songs.... it sounds really wierd to hear Hold My Hand and Best Of Joy - Best of Joy especially, because it sounds so, so recent, and yet nothing at all like Monster, Breaking News or Keep Your Head Up, which were done just three years ago supposedly. It's not matching up.

Either its him, Mike sounded like shit, or they took the vocals and used some fecal plug-in on them. I really am just straining and trying to just hear the music and be opend minded, and there are no doubt some convincing parts, but then there's a phrase or a shout or something that just kills it and you're back to square one. And its all three songs from the same source, that's what makes it hard to believe. Isn't there just ONE sung line of lyrics from these sessions that sound like Mike? If they dumped off 12 songs and they all sound like this... ugh.

Keep your Head up is a more soulful track than Best of Joy and Hold My Hand

Maybe Tricky was trying to get Mike to sing more soulful. Especially the falsetto

I mean imagine if MJ sang Butterflies the way he sings Hold My Hand. It wouldn't sound nearly as southful. Marsha from Floetry brought out MJ's r&b side.

I'll take Taryll's word over Teddy's any day. Why? Because he has no agenda and this is his Uncle whom he loved dearly.

As for Teddy, he gets paid for his production work on the album. He has to defend the songs or the Estate will not hire him for future projects.

I agree the vocals are a little weak at times. I still really like the track and one of my favorites on the album. Maybe MJ was having a off day or didn't get a chance to do it again. Considering MJ was a perfectionist maybe he would have wanted to do it over and over against until he liked it.

The production, the music and the lyrics to me are perfect for one of those anthem songs.
