Girls will love this article. Can you imagine a 14 yr old analyzing the art of watching girls? http://allforloveblog.com/?p=4617
TAKES PRACTICE Michael always says it with a smile but he’s serious when he calls girl watching ‘an art’! When asked, he’ll explain that it takes a lot of practice to ‘eyeball chicks’ without being noticed. For one thing, Michael knows that it’s very rude to stare at a person openly. That’s why he’s perfected a technique that never gives him away. Why did he go through all this trouble? ‘Because I really don’t want to offend anyone by watching them. Some people really get uptight if they know someone is looking at them. But I have this weakness—I love looking at girls!’ ‘Just watching a girl can give me the best reason to smile. Girls are something very special and you got to treat them that way. That’s why I always say don’t stare right at a chick. She’ll begin to fidget, wondering if her hair’s messed up or if her make-up is smeared. It’s kind of like going to an art gallery to see beautiful paintings. If you look at a painting just the right way, you get the most out of it!’
REASONS WHY It’s very normal for a young, healthy, and great looking guy like Michael to enjoy girl watching. Every guy his age has put in time standing around just enjoying the lovely view of girls passing by! But, some guys like to look at girls and then rate them according to the way she’s dressed or how pretty she is. Not Michael. He has his own reasons. ‘The guys who are doing the rating are missing the whole point. They’re so busy counting up the scores that they’re not looking—I mean really looking at the girls.’ ‘The way a girl walks. You can tell a lot from the walk. If she’s happy or sad—if she’s proud of being a girl. And then, there are the chicks that look so helpless that I want to rush over to them and put my arms around them!’ ‘And if I’m lucky enough to be close enough to see her face—well, that’s like your favourite dessert after a fine meal!’ ‘The eyes—do they wink at you? What makes them shine like they do? Love? Or just happy at being alive?’ ‘And the mouth. Is it smiling at some secret? Or is she just doing her best to spread a little happiness by smiling at every person she sees?’ Michael’s list goes on and on. He can spend hours on a windy day seeing how the wind plays with long hair, short hair, dark hair, light hair. Or he can stare at the girls’ hands. Does she hold them still when she sits? Or are they part of her communicating methods? Do her hands come alive in conversation—gesturing wildly to emphasize her words? But mostly, Michael just wants the time to watch and see the whole picture—the whole person. He likes everybody but the girls are still, for him, ’something very special!’ If he was one of those guys who rated the chicks he saw, Michael would be spending all his money on paper to add up the high scores for each girl. Because to him, each girl is a winner—simply by being a girl—by being someone special—by being the very girl he might be staring at this very moment—with a smile on his face.-Tiger Beat Magazine, 1972.

Who thinks Universal/Motown will release their own compilation of unrelased tracks after Michael is released? I give it 8 months... "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Looking back at their track record, they probably have the compilation done, just waiting for the sales of Michael to come out
They could do something like this:
Love Trip She Say What A Pretty Face Is (from the unreleased J5/Stevie album) You're The Only One If You Want Heaven Wouldja? What's So Good About Goodbye If I Can't (Nobody Can) If You Really Love Me (cover of Stevie Wonder hit) I've Gotta Be Me [Edited 11/28/10 18:36pm] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. Harry Weigner talked about it when I Want You Back! came out in '09 and again 2 months ago. He said the first release after I Want You Back! would the Forum set and since we got that some months ago, they'll probably do another comp in the next couple of months "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I don't get it, what is this going to do? Just be another site where people can argue to their heart's content? Is this site affliated with Sony in some way? Why not just go to the official site and complain there? Or write letters? Email? That would be the best avenue, even though it's doesn't mean anything at the end. They are still a private company, they're going to do whatever they want, especially if the estate is behind them 100%.

Continued from the Arist wannabe MJ thread
MJ fans should be the last one calling others copycats because Michael Jackson was the ultimate follower trying to get in whats hot at the present time. Lets take it back
1. Teddy Riley: Did MJ copy Bobby Brown? Its obvious he must have liked that dont be cruel album and Rileys work with Guy and Keith Sweat. Thats a follower. Fans call Dangerous innovative but that Teddy Riley sound was 3 to 4 years old and Dangerous is actually his worse work. Guy, Bobby Brown, Keith Sweat early albums under Teddy Riley rip apart that Dangerous album.
2. Heartbreaker, Invincible, Unbreakable sound like NSYNC songs. Especially Heartbreaker which sounds like NSYNC 2000 song Pop.
3. In 1987 Quincy Jones had RUN DMC in the studio ready to lay down there part of a song or two. MJ told Quincy rap was dead and it was only 1987. Quincy knew the direction music was going and that it would be popular. Fast forward to 1991 now MJ is jumping on the bandwagon like a non Steelers fan saying im a Pittsburgh fan now..LOL...MJ was like i want a rapper..i want a rapper...Now he has all these rappers on his albums.
4. Rodney Jerkins: Why is MJ hiring Rodney now? Oh i know because the popular artist on the radio were produced by Jerkins at the time. Follower
Your a genius right? Your supposed to be this innovative artist and your desperately trying to get with the current popular producers after they had already introduced that sound.
How about producer your own music or take a UNKNOWN producer and make a hit album? [Edited 11/28/10 21:14pm]

Unbreakable sounds like a boy band song to you [Edited 11/28/10 21:25pm]

The beat does.
I think it would have been more impressive had MJ took Andre Harris and Marsha who produced Butterflies and had them do the whole album in 2001. UNKNOWN but its a hit. Now artist want to copy that style of music instead of you jumping on the bandwagon to follow theres.
80s MJ was at such a high level that the 90s and MJ in the early 2000's felt he had to top it. [Edited 11/28/10 22:09pm]

When did MJ write his own material? Thats so long ago. History album and that wasn't exactly a hot album More of something that die hard fans like.
During the early 80s, MJ, Randy and Janet would get creative at the encino home whic resulted in some of the off the wall tracks. Tracks on the Bad album.
90s AND 2000's was MJ reaching

More snippets of Monster have leaked. Utterly horrible, beyond words.
HIStory sold 20 million copies, 40 million units with double-disc sales.
Earth Song was huge in Europe. That was written by MJ. Stranger In Moscow is one of his most well-regarded works. Written by MJ. Who Is It.... another one of his most critically acclaimed songs.
He has always collaborated and done stuff on his own, and either produced or co-produced material through his entire career. Not sure what you're getting at, other than a strange way of saying you like his older material better. [Edited 11/28/10 23:51pm]

Sales dont prove the music is quality. Its like Sugar Ray Leonard making a comeback in boxing, its gonna sell out and do well on pay per view becauase of his NAME and past success.
MJ still sold well based off the success of older albums but for example Bobby Browns dont be cruel album may not have sold as well as Dangerous but ask NON FANS....Radio Stations, African american fans who were in college during that era.
What songs moved you in college? Jam, in the closet, why i wanna trip on me, cant let her get away, she drives me wild
OR....Rock wit u baby...all night long, i wanna roll with u lady. Every Little Step, Tenderoni, Dont be cruel.
Where are the luv jams on Dangerous? I have never heard of a classic album without that ballad thats a luv jam. MJ had that with Thriller and Off The Walll. Why did he turn down the song JOY which he wrote but gave to blackstreet. Bad decision.
All classic albums should have that lady in my life, human nature, she's out of my life jam on it

not in the States it wasn't. Sony USA seemed to not know how to promote the album and pretty much stopped after They Don't Care About Us
plus, Michael stopped promoting in the states and went straight for Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa [Edited 11/29/10 1:28am] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
