I'm not trying to be confrontational but this is a bit of a common misconception.

You've made some excellent points, and I agree with the majority of your comment, while appreciating your non-confrontational approach. I just don't understand how my desire to see a rapper invest in an education for himself is a "common misconception".

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant that an education directly leading to wealth is a misconception. I agree; most of them need an education - a basic one. My point was that once you have "been there and done that" its hard to go backwards and with the added complication having been famous and of facing a possible lifetime of embarrassment, the fight to go back and take the "long route" is seldom an option for these guys. lol

Yeah but that's because they're too lazy to know how to do anything else so they're "stuck". lol

I agree with BK for the most part. The majority of rich athletes aren't gonna go back and

complete their education degrees because they are filthy rich but taking a course or two

on finance to help you control your paper can't hurt. In the case of Nelly, a course in public

speaking can't hurt. lol

Oh, I see. Again, excellent points. nod Except, I wasn't suggesting an education to become wealthy. I was suggesting an education because he (and many other rappers) seemed to have such a poor grasp of the English language, evidenced by their writing and in the way they speak during the interviews I've watched. Then it was explained to me that he was purposely writing in Twitter shorthand, not due to an apparent inability to spell or form coherent sentences.

So, I would agree; the idea that education always leads directly to wealth would be a misconception. Though respectfully, that wasn't the point I was making.

Nelly's Apple Bottoms campaign is still going strong!!!!

Full-figured model Kai Morae (Lisaraye’s daughter) posed for a Apple Bottoms Photo Shoot in Hollywood yesterday. The photos were taken by celebrity photographer Derek Blanks at Miauhaus Studios. Kai is the first full-figured model to appear in Nelly’s Apple Bottom’s campaigns.

Well then that makes Twitter stupid. How you gonna say there's a 140-letter limit? lol I remember having to resort to making numbers and letters when I couldn't write out what I wanted on there! lol

Ya know, call me old-fashioned, but even if there's a 140-letter limit, and what I wanted to say was more than 140 letters, I would just break my post down into 2 or more parts, whatever it took to get it in there... without disregarding everything I'd learned in English Composition 101 shrug . Particularly if I were a celebrity, knowing that many people would be interested in what I had to say.

Dear Nelly,

There is another light-skinned brotha (and I say "brotha" loosely!) that has taken your spot.

THIS^ pretty MFer right here. Oh it's true, it's damn true. Drake has taken your spot the same way his f** hag......oops, I mean his girlfriend Nicki Minaj has taken Lil'Kim spot. Don't hate the players. Hate all of the major label executives that are quick to sign up all clones AND wannabes as new flavors of the month!

Much regards
