OMG love

There's a pair that should've been locked away in a studio for a week. Imagine what could've came out.

That's where they were lol Roger worked on the original version of Smooth Criminal that was recorded in '85 and maybe some other tracks

WHAAAAAT? omfg faint

Ya know, come to think of it, some of the synth-lines in Smooth Criminal and "Just Another Part Of Me" sound kinda Troutman-ish, am I making sense?

The moog bass is also prominent in everywhere in "Bad", I know the instrument was developed looong before Roger's entrance in the music business, but his moog bass playing is pretty distinctive, and come to think of it, some of it pops up every now & then in "Bad".

God, I'm in desperate need for MJ' fans' digging talent when it comes to these Roger tracks.

I've always thought the guitar riff in Superfly Sister sounded Rogerish.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

It kinda reminds me of a cross between Roger & the Chicken Grease technique Prince does.

Yeah it did. I wonder if those tracks are out there.

Roger was also rocking some of the Minneapolis sound at that time. "Itchin' For Your Twitchin'" by Zapp. "Can We Touch" by The Human Body.
