like i posted in the other thread...

The visuals are nice but the storyline was lacking for me. I give Kanye props for trying to create a short film and not half assing a video like many artist today but this could have been squeezed into a 10-15 minute video i feels some parts were drawn out too long. I could have done without the akward dialogue, the music was good enough.

Just watched the video and his whole interview on mtv.com. I didn't care for the length or how 'out there' some of the scenes were with little coherence with the music or how it lacked fluidity from scene to scene, but I did enjoy the music, and props to Kanye for putting some thought into his work and executing it the way he wanted. It was a simple story that took way to long to tell, though the visuals were beautiful. I appreciate how he can express himself intelligently when speaking (and in his music, of course) unlike many current artists.

There certainly is a dumbing down of so many things in this society, but the real dumbing down happens when people spew out this type of religious fanatical nonsense.

As for the video...I enjoyed the preview of tracks we heard and some of the images, but it was kinda just a fluff piece overall.

I'm looking forward to this album.
