And Shawn only titled his albums simply "Blueprint" (and "Blueprint 2" and "Blueprint 3"). I guess the way Nas talked, it was as if he wanted to prove how unoriginal he was (hence "how much of BIG's rhymes are gonna come out your fat lips?").

I really wish we had a time machine though. I can't believe I live in a generation when rappers that are supposed to be "at the top of the heap" presenting boring and corny lines (and that includes Kim and Nicki).

Kim killed this lyrically with a raw and straight to the point flow while Nicki uses all these animated voices. I have yet to hear Nicki rap ONE song without changing voices. I don't really care too much for either of them but I do have albums from both of them in my iTunes.

All I got to say is respect your past and those who led the way. Yes to all those dissing Kim, her heyday maybe gone but she's proven that not only is she one of the best female MCs that ever lived but one of the best period. Her mark is edged in stone. Exactly...no other rap female artist of the past 15 years have a collection like Lil Kims through mixtapes, unreleased jams, reviews, and released albums.

I may be of the same generation you and paisley live in but I politely disagree since I got more respect for MC Lyte and Queen Latifah in the same regard people put Kim under.

Lil Kim is still, and always will be the Queen of Rap music. Since 1994, Kim is one of the greatest female rap artists. Not to mention she is a songwriter and actress.
