I came in here just to say that she wasn't mentioned, and she was probably the most unsung hero as far Stevie's legacy was concerned, as much as Bob & Cecil are.

No they weren't but much like the Ohio Players they only had a 5 year

There are shows like Behind the Music and A&E Biography but unless you were big time Motown artist, mainstream Black artists like MJ or Prince or rock n roll pioneers like Ray Charles, Jimi or Aretha, they either refuse or don't even know about these artists.

Of course we, the hardcore music lovers, know who artists like Teddy P, Shalamar, Heatwave, Phyllis Hyman and Donny Hathaway are but sadly a large majority of people and especially young Black kids don't know who the hell they are.

Sounds like something I would like, but I still had to look it up online because I've never heard of it. It says it's on TV One? Is that a channel, or is that the production company. If it's a channel I don't have it here (yet).

Cerbus make sure to check your cable listings. You may have TV1, some networks/programs are hard to find if you have to surf through up-teem cable channels. If you don't have TV1, you aren't missing much including their series "Unsung".

I love the 70s TV movies they feature, I'd say this is their saving grace.

I don't think I'll ever watch Maya Angelou's Sister, Sister or Ossie Davis' Black Girl anywhere else.
