Neither would I, not this particular Kanye production. But I am curious: Does anyone know the bitrate for Amazons MP3's?

I know that the bitrate for Amazon's MP3s range from 190-320 kpbs, which sound great. Check me out and add me on:

Ok, all my problems with this album boil down to the first track. It should end much earlier than it does.
The hooks don't really match the ego, and that's a problem.

So disturbed by what I was hearing as "distortion", and because several CD's since (Ne-Yo's and Cee-Lo Green's) were producing that same "distortion" that I was hearing with Kanye's CD (and because not EVERYONE was hearing it), I rolled up my sleeves and took a closer look at my sound settings and discovered that the volume leveling option had been activated (set to level at 89 dB's), and while it had no noticeable effect on most music I was listening to at that time, it turned out to be the culprit that was causing me to be so upset with Kanye's production. I'm not sure at what point that setting was activated, it's not something I would have done intentionally. Nevertheless, once discovering that, I made the necessary adjustments to my system (deactivated the volume leveling), went back to revisit Kanye's "Twisted Fantasy", and the distortion I was hearing is now GONE, and I'm now hearing the full frequency response.
So...
To be fair to Kanye, and to all those that argued in defense of the production value of this CD, I wanted to come back to this thread to ADMIT that the distortion I was hearing was due to the volume leveling setting on my system being activated, and not due to poor production value of Kanye's CD. This is an important admission for me to make.
Looking forward to finally listening to this CD in the way it was meant to be heard (...maybe I'll even find that I actually LIKE some of it, lol).

And now, having listened very closely to this CD overnight, there's not a song on it that I DON'T like, lol. I can clearly hear the direction he's taking it in, and I'll even go so far as to say; others may be wise to follow. He may be on to something.
