This episode was on sometimes last year. I remember recording it. BC was wearing the red and white karate outfits. They performed Get Up and One to One. Peaches & Herb shook their groove thang. Don't laugh at my funk

I'm watching an episode right now. It's from 1982 and features Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn.
Does anyone know who sings the song they played during the line dance? I think it's called "Do Something".......a fast, funky number with a chorus that goes....
"Tonight I feel like I wanna do something Can't sit still,I really wanna do something"
It's a guy singing. | |

Yeah, from the Lonnie Simmons camp (Gap Band, etc). Robert also performed this song on Soul Train. Youtube-member Soultrainfans had it uploaded a few years ago. Too bad that (after various account-changes) some rare footage of his archives hasn't been reposted. | |

The one with the braids named Linda. I think she is like president or some official with the company that distributes those Now gospel compilations. Now come on TD3 and let me see you Shake Your Groove Thang. Don't laugh at my funk
