Songs with vocal flow ,bass work that resemble these two songs.

Sam Bostic and his band Circuitry around 1985. The chorus somewhat resembles "Lady Cab Driver".

The synth hook kinda reminds me of Lady Cab Driver.

The synth-chords (not the bass-synth) at the intro always reminded me of the intro synth-chords of MJ's "Billie Jean". Different sounding chords though, but somehow still played in a similar rhythm.
