T.I. 'sick and ... tired' of being in prison

Genius:

Atlanta-based rapper T.I. says he's sick and tired of being in prison.

Rapper T.I.: "This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that's saying a lot for a [person] who's been down locked up as many times as I have."
Curtis Compton, ccompton@ajc.com Rapper T.I.: "This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that's saying a lot for a [person] who's been down locked up as many times as I have."
In a statement posted on his official website, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, talks about his regrets over his actions and bemoans the fact that he did not have a responsible father in his life.

"This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that's saying a lot for a [person] who's been down locked up as many times as I have. I see this as a real [expletive] whoopin'. The kind you don't just go back outside to play afterwards. You take ya [expletive] to bed and don't come out of your room until it's time to go to school.

"I don' t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I'm certainly sick and [expletive] tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it. I'd have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life.

"Even though it's been a long road, I'm still standing, barely but nevertheless still standing. At one time I thought my motivation for continuing was for my fans, my partna Philant, my pops, my grandmama, even for the haters or the people I let down. But nah ... I got to do this [expletive] for me!!! I'll be [expletive] if I've come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this! [Expletive] that! If an hour in the dark is worth a second in the sun then pass me my [expletive] shades cause I'm ready to cash my darkest hours in ... ASAP!!!

True, but we both know Tip doesn't make money rapping about positive choices. To paraphrase Jadakiss, we know jailed rappers get better promotion.

I am so tired of hearing that bs excuse that he didn't have a father, and using that as a reason or excuse that as a "grown-ass man" that he does sh*t that gets him in trouble on his own. Somewhiere along in his adult life, he had do know the difference between right and wrong, and needs to stop blaming his father for his own stupid-ass actions. That "I didn't have a daddy sh*t" doesn't work anymore, once you become of legal age as an adult.

nod the absence of a father is the cause behind many of his earlier and youthful mistakes but now he's a grown man/successful music artist/actor/film producer/father/husband. With all those titles there's just no excuse for getting arrested over and over. And besides, Charlie Sheen had a father and he's just as big a fuck up as T.I. Sometimes the problem isn't your family, community or society at large.....sometimes it's just YOU.

Identity

This guy was a straight-A student before he dropped out. If he genuinely applied himself, he could encourage the youth to stay in school and get an education.

T.I. says he's 'sick and ... tired' of being in prison? Watch that become the title to his next track or cd, and sadly.......the fools that support him will buy it and make it a hit.

lol You just predicted the title of T.I."s future cd with that statement-->"no release date" coming to a wrecka stow near you! lol

Damn shame. Some of these rappers get the opportunity to get themselves out of a specific, economic situation, and when they have the blessings fall into their hands, they're too stupid to notice it, and know what to do with it in a positive sense. Then later they f**k it up. Dumbassery sure is somebody's b*tch.lol

Good behavior? It seems his ass can't even behave when he's out of prison, that's why he ends up right back in there. lol
