I've finally seen it all.

R Kelly did the damn thing! His salute to Frankie Lymon, that no one has even mentioned...had me on my feet!

The Anita Baker Tribute? OMG!!! That is how the fuck you do a tribute to someone of her musical stature!

SOMEBODY over at BET, read the emails that were sent, cursing their stankin' asses out, for those whack ass Michael Jackson and Prince "tributes"!

Now...they should do them over...get them right...and we'll be cool as cucumbers ...as far as I'll be concerned. lol

Hmm I just saw it. Gotta say admire the dude for knowing about his old school roots. He brought back the Frankie Lymon beat in the final minutes.

Nicely done. Your response was well-formatted.

lol, but i've actually seen Ron's fomer wife, Angela Winbush, singing backup onstage with the Isley's. It wasn't that uncommon for a wife or hubby to perform both onstage.

Check for example on youtube Quincy Jones' live footage at the Budokan in Japan. His ex(?)-wife Peggy Lipton was singing background while i think she wasn't even a

professional background singer (i could be wrong tho). I only knew about her later when she had a role in Twin Peaks. thanks for your previous Cee-Lo comment btw cool

Sounds good. I hope R. Kelly sings live or there isn't much of a point.

Looking forward to the Isley/Anita Baker tributes too. Hopefully the focus is mainly on R&B. If there's too many hip-hop/rap spots I'll lose interest.

R.Kelly did a good performance there.

Yeah but Angela Winbush can clearly blow. I guess the point I was trying to make was, it seems like his current wife is just, there. Back when Ron was married to Angela, the times they were seen on television together, they looked happy, like they were into their craft as well as into each other. I think in Angela's case, she probably had a choice to sing backup if she wanted to, this current wife, it seems like "bitch that's your job, get yo ass up there and sing NOW!!!"...where you would think she would just play out the role as his wife. I don't know, it's early and I'm rambling, lol.

And of course, I love Cee-Lo.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Kelly needs 2 brush up on his lip sync skills.
