Lawd, I tell ya.

I bet his wife is younger than his oldest grandkids. lol

If it gives you any inclination she might be: she's 35 lol

I think his oldest daughter is about ten years older than her. lol

Damn! lol

^ Correction: I read their wedding article on JET, she was 28 then (2005), she's 33 now. lol

She was born when "Voyage to Atlantis" and "The Pride" first hit the radio, which would be 1977.

I think his eldest daughter is around her 50s or something.

I only know of one daughter - Tawanna Isley.

I do believe he has two other daughters but I'm not sure.

I know he and Angela didn't have kids.

The Anita Baker tribute was very classy.

LOVED El, LOVED Lalah, Goapele and Dionne and Tamia. HATED Kem and Rachelle. What was that shit-they were like CeCe and Rephus from In Living Color.

BET needs their asses whooped for not honoring Ernie Isley along with Ron.

Although, after seeing that fuckery, he probably was too embarrassed to show up!

Strangely enough Ronald mentioned Rudolph's name but failed

to mention Ernie. hmmm

Poor him, indeed lol Had to be the one that performed after R. Kelly's great performance. and why the fuck does he think he can wear penny loafers with white socks? Someone needs to inform him that he's not Michael Jackson.

Mr. Biggs , I like Chante and Rkelly

I am glad that they had lot of the old school talented musicians on the stage.

It was nice to see Jeffery Osborne and Freddie Jackson, Ronald Isley

El EDebarge, Anita Baker, oh my they even had my girl, Rachelle Ferrell

on with Kem. Eric BeneT , Keshia Cole, Jaszime Sullivan ..love Their voices.

I don't understand Ceelo or Erykah but I am happy for them. It was a good show I just

hate that lot of the performances were cut and I was confused with Anita's speech

maybe I MISSED it but what was the 6 letter word? biggrin

[Edited 11/28/10 20:56pm]

The six letter word is: L E G E N D (legend)

I remember seeing their "Cell Therapy" video back then, and later the "Soul Food" clip.

Cee-Lo's voice was right away something to take notice of. Great to see which direction he's been going.

I see ole Robert Kelly put the Superman High Shit aside for the night, thank God. Maybe his instincts are right this time by producing a bonefide R&B record. At least I hope so. His voice was stellar. Made it look easy.

Outside of R. Kelly's performance, Anita Baker's tribute was the best for me. She seemed really pleased with their work.

Why do I get the feeling that Ne-yo is bound for Writer's Land. He seems not offer anything special except for the ladies dancing with him wink He could probably write hits for artist but his solo stuff just don't move me. I think him, Dream and Ryan Leslie should focus on writing and/or producing other artist. Just my humble opinion.

Kelly and Marvin are deceased. I just felt it was odd that he didn't mention Ernie's name

when Ernie was the one who helped him keep the Isleys name alive.

nod Right I agree, but sadly when the camera switched to the audience, it seems they didn't quite "get" his performance. lol
