You need to go back and listen to "The Other Woman" and "Woman Out Of Control" albums again.
Those albums are good,but I think 1987's 'After Dark' is his most 'complete' work.It's a strong,consistent album that features mostly R&B music.There's very little pop on this album.Songs like "I Don't Think That Man Should Sleep Alone","You Shoulda Kept A Spare","I Love Your Daughter" and the naughty title track are some of the most soulful songs that Ray has ever done.The previous albums are too pop,imo. | |

I remember loving this song but whenever I saw the end of the video I always wondered why he was using his tongue so much and thought it was disgusting. The girl used no tongue and basically kept her mouth motionless.
Of course I understood the tongue more a few years later but at the time I could only think EEEWWWWW. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin. | |

Don't forget "You Make My Nature Dance!" (think Cameo's"Back & Forth") "After Dark" - a great album!
Everytime I hear "I don't Think..." somehow, ANOTHER great track comes to mind....
