Rapper T.I. is being sued by an Atlanta recording studio technician who says was held hostage for 12 hours and beaten by one of the musician’s employees in a dispute over a missing necklace.

RT.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was not at Echo Studios at the time of the Sept. 8 incident, but the suit filed Monday in Fulton County State Court holds him responsible because he was allegedly sent e-mails, text messages and videos as the alleged attack was happening. T.I. is the owner of Echo Studios.

That story's a bit confusing with all the damn nicknames.

T.I. is innocent! How dare these baseless allegations be aired to impune his character! He is beyond reproach and cannot be held accountable for the actions of others in his empoloy.

I think it comes down to if you are employed by a said person/company and say you punch a customer in the face, that customer can sue you but also the employer, just really a case of going after whoever has the money. TI is a fool for employing ignorance, than again, you are a reflection of your choices in your friends employees and women, case closed. The face this was over a "necklace" shows how fucking dumb the whole genre of hip hop is.
