Oh hey guys! We just can't hold BACK on re-imagining iconic epic '80s pop culture moments from a film AND music video standpoint. First we revealed how we'd love to see Justin Bieber cast in a remake of Back To The Future. And today, it's all about our long-held remake dream involving Britney Spears. After all, we know her recent song leak "Pleasure You" was declared bulls--- by her manager on Twitter, so we're anxious for some upcoming album news. Since there are few details about Britney's next album, we'd like to make a request. VERY specifically, we're jonesing for her to make a different kind of comeback. Brace yourself: we want to see Britney in a new version of Michael Jackson's epic music video, "Thriller."

Here's why:

1. The "Overprotected" singer is no stranger to the choreographed stylings of both Michael and Janet Jackson. She's adapted elements of both performers into her many videos -- and we think she'd do well to take a more literal stance on their inspiration in the form of a freaking awesome rendition of "Thriller" 2.0.

2. Britney's no stranger to remakes. She reminded the public at large about the meaning of the word "prerogative" when she sang her version of the famed Bobby Brown song. And she's redone "Satisfaction."

3. We know Britney can rock red leather like no one else can--recall, as you surely can, the "Oops I Did It Again" video. Britney Spears was truly a Nostradamus of style--she predicted the return of jumpsuits a full decade early!

4. Instead of zombies, Britney can opt for a very modern and feminine ghoul of choice--a glampire! Some fangs, a Cullen-worthy pallor, scary-chic makeup, and the look is complete.

Obviously no one could ever replace or top Michael Jackson's mastery of dance or the breakthrough that was "Thriller," but we'd love to see Britney's version of a tribute.

Gimme more, Britney! You... need... time.. because there IS a second chance against the thing with 40 eyes, in the paraphrased words of Michael J.

It's fine if "Glee" wants to take on "Thriller" or they want to do a parody of the prison dance, it's fine if someone wanted to pay a homage to music videos from the 80s, but to do a remake of the song and video is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard. It's a song as far as I'm concerned shouldn't be remade.

I think it's possible Michael would've remade and reshot "Thriller" in 3D, and could prob. make a CGI animated/live action film if they wanted to with really cool effects. I'm pretty sure if they had the right people working on it, the family and estate would give across the board approval for an updated look and even a new remix of the music.

Kenny Ortega, who made "This Is It", wants to do a feature length movie based around it, but the media jumped the gun on it, he said it's barely an idea at this stage.
