King & Queen Of Pop, Rock & Soul?

Okay, so Michael Jackson was the King of Pop. Elvis Presley was the King of Rock & Roll. Aretha is the Queen of Soul. Are there any artists who you feel have mastered all three genres? Who would you say is the King & Queen of Pop, Rock & Soul? My choices would be Prince and Tina Turner.

IMO... these titles are a bit silly,

anyway, here's my choices:

King Of Pop: Elton John

Queen Of Pop: Donna Summer

King Of Sexual Funk: Prince

Queen Of Sexual Funk: Hmm does she exist lol...

King Of Rock: Freddie Mercury

Queen Of Rock: Kate Bush

King Of Soul: Marvin Gaye

Queen Of Soul: Aretha Franklin

I have no idea what to call the self-proclaimed "King" Michael Jackson,

imo. MJ's music is not exactly "Pop",

Elton John has always been King Of Pop in my world. wink

He likes writers and piano players, but Aretha did both, didn't she?

The original question was which two singers (male & female) do you feel have mastered all 3 genres and, therefore, could possibly be considered the King/Queen of Pop, Rock & Soul?. Haven't gotten too many responses to the original question. mad
