When did you begin to conceptualize Palisade Hills, and how did it come to be a reality for you?
Palisade Hills was brought into fruition as a musical collective. It was more of an identity to collectively associate Just So Swift Productions (my early hip-hop production ‘label’) and another local label, Class Act Records. There where initially about seven or eight acts altogether. As time progressed, the idea of Palisade Hills naturally evolved with me and the musical ideas I wanted to experiment with. The reality of it all came around the year 2001 when began to I release music under various monikers (Azariah, Empathy In Love, Cure For Cancer, DJ Iceberg, Noel Guillaume) to showcase my diversity, and Palisade Hills eventually became the home for my new music.
