Anybody seen the K-Ci and Jo jo show....

No wonder Jodeci broke up? I didn't know those guys were that fucked up all the time. I remember hearing about these Jodeci reunion tours that keep getting canceled over the years. It's too bad..maybe someday they can get their shit together again and start making good music again. The one show I seen was interesting because they were talking about how today's music industry is behind the scenes.

Yes I've been watching it on a regular basis and overall the show is pretty good, but I really feel for K-Ci. Seems like Jo-Jo doesn't have far to go to get himself together, he's already in a pretty positive state of mind (minus the dieting and exercising parts). It seems to me that K-Ci has a lot of internal issues he needs to work out for himself. I think he feels a lot of guilt where his kids are concerned (especially being that he hadn't seen his oldest in 10 years, I'm sorry but there's no excuse for that rolleyes) and I don't think he sees himself in the best light, because if he did, he would be more open to doing whatever he needed to do to get himself together. Out of the two of them, I think K-Ci would fall backwards with the quickness. It seems that he is reluctant to face his issues head on, and therefore, because he isn't open, he's more than likely to go back to his wayward ways.

I've always been a fan of Jodeci and the two brothers, most notably K-Ci, and I for one am really rooting for him to get straight so that he can continue on recording successfully with his brother, but I dunno. shrug So far with the episodes that they have aired, K-Ci seems like a good talker but when faced with it, he's a very difficult person to deal with.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Teeny, Fantasia's idiot older mooch of a brother, holds parties that he refers to as "bossquerades" a play on the words masquerade and boss. I don't get it myself but that's the nonsense he's been spewing. His parties don't raise any money either.

I was done at "nekkid car warsh"! This country negro right hurr....you can tell they related, I'm surprised the cousins weren't there. If he were to show up on K Ci and JoJo show it would be coonery and buffoonery to the nth level.

spit you killin' me.

I think he would get along right well with them jodeci brothers.

You know what irks me about Teeny tho.....he always has to mention as part of his self-promotion that he is Fantasia Barrino's brother. faint

I find it hilarious that people using variations of the n-word in attempt to be hip/ironic/intelligent or lord knows have the gall to judge others.

In these instinces, I can't help but think of the closing of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf....

hmmm Maybe I have it all wrong or taking it a bit too maturely, but Fantasia's show is way different than K-Ci & Jo-Jo's. Fantasia's is more like the Keysha Cole side of things while the Hailey brothers' show is about making a serious change in their lives. You don't see them acting a fool at different night spots or in grocery stores. They actually are talking with a pastor, counselors and to people who can help them turn their career around. I guess I could see if their show was on the "stupid" side like the others with all the fun that's being made about them on this thread, but I don't see anything funny with making fun of folks who recogize that they have a problem and are at least attempting to turn their lives around. Just sayin' wink

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

 now I can't use the word negro? Chile, please! Stop trying to police my conversation and gtfohwts! I'm grown and you for sure ain't the boss of me and I find it hilarious that you keep on with this BS.

Also Fantasia and Jodeci are cousins, that's where the comparison came in.

Who exactly are you directing your comment to? If it's me, I didn't say anything about the N-word that was another orger. I was just simply saying that while most peeps on this thread are he-hawing about the coonery with the shows, I just didn't see the Hailey's show in that way. Yes I know that Fantasia and the Hailey brothers are cousins, haven't really heard if she's related to the DeGrates or not. I just see two black men who are trying to turn themselves around. While people are commenting on how "bummy" they make look or how bad their skin looks, I just think it's sort of silly. My opinion. Chill out girlie, it's not that serious. It's just the org. thumbs up!

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
