Good question? Maybe they were still under contract with Tabu. Don't laugh at my funk

A metronome is a device which keeps the rhythm in control or on point, so the band would just have pay attention to Miss Wiggle, lol

I thought Cherelle was too busy being drug buddies with Whitney during this time "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

what happened with the house burning? Was this not a simple fire? was it intentional or some sort of controversy surrounding it? "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

was there something going on between those 2?? "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

wow, at first I thought Joe Jackson made another Michael.... but when I go on youtube it would seem people think that Michael and Micki had a thing going on in their early careers around the late 70s. I think B and the Jackson family are very very close and he really looks like a Jackson. Not only like Michael but he also looks like a young Janet (before nose job). REally, he does look like Janet. Cherelle, Miki & Chaka were a clique back in the day. So you know there was some hell raising going on between the three.
As for the house burning, thats all I know. It was mentioned in the liner notes of her "Very Best Of" album and an article from Jet.
How or why did it occur, I have no idea. I know that afew of her friends from the industry chipped in to help financially after the fact.

There was but I broke them up. Andy is a four letter word.

The song is actually based on a nursery rhyme, that goes back centuries; Toto, just incorporated it into a song. Aside for versions by Toto and Micki, there's the version by Erice Benet and one done by a group called, "Charme", which featured, Luther. I wasn't aware of the Charme version I love it.
But Toto/Cheryl Lyn's version is my fave.

I read the comments, and I believe if that's his son, including Omar, then it should come out. I get Jackson vibes as well.

and why did you do that? Phyllis needed to "Fall in Love Again" because she was she was tired of "Living All Alone". "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

Is that the same son that was in the documenatry saying how he hated what they did to his mother, and was embarrassed to say she was a singer??? I thought that boy was younger but anyway, I got STRONG Jackson vibes from him as well (if this isn't the same kid).

That boy is grown but short lol

When I first saw her son I got the feeling that he could have been a Jackson also-those genes are strong

I don't know about him actually being a Jackson unless Joe was playing house with Micki but I doubt it. Most likely this boy had parents who were both "emotionally unavailable" and the Jacksons basically adopted him to the point that he sounds and acts just like them, which is creepy as fuck. The Jacksons are cool and all but damn if I'm going to imitate their soft tone voice and shy sensitive I wanna cry demeanor, if I'm going to be influenced by one of them, let it be Tito with the bass in his voice and loves going fishing and guitars.

I'm incline to think he is another MJ. Not a jr but product of Joe. It just makes sense. Especially if Joe was her manager in her early career (she was young and needy and he was papa Joe holding all the cards). "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

Hmm... so in other words, Joe put his seed in Miki?

Hey it was asking for it.

yeah, I could believe that. Miki might have complied... after all, she was young and hungry for a shot. People have done more for less. And is it possible that Joe would have done this? IMO, in a heart beat. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

That boy appears to be related to the Jacksons. I don't believe he could ever ever be an offspring of Michael. Micki doesn't seemed to be MJ's type.
But, I could see her being Joe's type... young, nubile and pretty. Also, they say Joe was her manager during that critical time.
I really don't see why the possibility is that laughable.

I never for a second thought he was Michael's son but because of Joe's connection to Miki, he could be Joe's son. Although, now that I think of it I seriously doubt it. Katherine would not allow any of Joe's kids that aren't her's, in her house. This boy stated that when Michael died, he was at Hayvenhurst.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
yeah, that was a puzzler for me as well. I wondered how big Katherine's heart was. Not sure the connection... but this boy gives me the Jackson vibe.

Interesting is the word that keeps popping up in my head as well. When I saw this child speaking on Unsung, I asked, who is his father? I don't know if I thought of the Jacksons instantly, but when he said he hated what they did to his mother, I thought of MJ. So, this thread is very interesting. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...
