It is funny but after looking at this list and pulling out material of each artist, I'm trying 2 figure out how Mj got on the list. I'm a Mj fan, but his work (not counting Videos) can't touch these other artists in my opinion. Neither his musicianship or lyrics hold up.

Then you'd have to take out JB & Rick...

cause I love em, but they both have horrible lyrics

but thats funk...

Stevie, dominates all of them,

Prnce

MJ

James

Rick

WHAAAAT? faint

Rick James I understand, but James Brown? disbelief Sure, the man had his shortcomings here & there like the rest of the ones mentioned on the list, but in no way shape or form do you push all the right & wrong buttons by being just funky with horrible lyrics. You cannot sustain a legacy if there's no substance in the words you sing.

That being said, Rick James is extremely hit/miss to me, lyrically/vocally.

I'm sorry Eddie Murphy was right

Mj Vs JB Vocally?

MJ would win... c'mon now

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

Lol...............the Mj fans crack me up.

I did NOT say who the non-musician was..........but it seems we all KNOW who it is.

If they all create music, they are musicians. Doesn't matter who you are referring to really.
