I said something similiar in another forum....I think he's a 80's baby who's trying to recreate the controversy from those times. What's a shame is that he's talented enough without the self-created controversy. Sure, it makes a good, fun "rock-n-roll/pop star" story, especially when almost everyone else is castrated right now, but its just unnecessary

If that's the case, he's just a big fan of 80's pop culture then. I know I've heard him reference often several pop acts from the 80's that he admires and tries to compete or challenge himself with.

Ya, I'm a little confused here...why do I get the feeling he's making an assumption that it would be banned...although, I'm not sure why he would assume that.

Especially since he's the one that posted it on his Twitter.

I dig Kanye and I think he's doing this to get a rise out of people. With so many people claiming he is "evil" or part of some secret society, I think he is just effing with the whole notion with the art

The "darker" character is probably an effigy of how he believes he is interpreted by many and the "lighter" angelic character can be symbolic of any number of things (Taylor Swift perhaps).

I just want to hear what he's been cooking up. I have enjoyed everything else he released.

BTW: I do miss the Dropout Bear character too
