Drake: Is he worth listening to?

Im just asking the populace of the P-orgers,because besides Prince,I listen to Drake.

But people say he is not worth listening to.

U know its funny that U ask that question, because I am trying to figure out should I really buy his CD tomorrow. Part of me feels like I am sleeping on him musically and the other part feels like he is over rated like lil wayne... I don't know, I will figure this out 2morrow...smile Aaron6ix

I really enjoy about half of the 'Thank Me Later' album. Specifically the more introspective stuff such as:

Fireworks:

Karaoke:

However for me the album loses it's focus when the big name guests and cliched subject matter start to take over (Fancy, Miss Me). I understand the reasons for that material being on there (i.e signed to a major, need to make sure radio get on board etc.) and I don't want to sound like a 'hater' but for me it's a shame as if he had focused solely on the introspective stuff with minimal guests it could have been a really great listen! Still worth the purchase as it is though!

No , but I listen to him lol. I gave him a chance a while back his old songs are better before he hooked up with young money. Go get his CD but so far gone is his best work to me.

he's okay, but he has very little "swag" as an mc (i.e. diversity, etc.), but he's a good performer and his thing is soundin' decent for right now cool

For all time I am with you, you are with me.
