Can you name some of your favorites with the Roland 808 used on some 80's funk / r&b tracks?

Maybe Ill get some I never heard of..thinking about making a tight mix on the production of this machine. I have some of my own songs with samples of it, but nothing is as good as the real thing!

You'd also want to check out (all on YouTube)...

Egytian Lover (Egypt, Egypt", etc)

Uncle Jamm's Army ("Dial A Freak", etc)

all those were 808 stuff (mid 80's).

Marvin's "Sexual Healing" definitely used the Roland 808. In fact Marvin's album Midnight Love was the first time that instrument was used openly.
