Have Rick James and Stevie Wonder ever met or worked together ?

confused Was Rick James and Stevie Wonder friends ? Or did they ever work together on any songs ?

Rick told a story in the Street Songs edition of Wax Poetics that he had to bascially yell at Stevie to get him to play his harmonica the way he wanted him to during the Mr. Policeman session, lol I can just hear him doing something like that too biggrin

Yes, Rick James, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Morris Day, Oran Juice Jones, Verdine White from Earth Wind and Fire, the drumer from Tavares, Calhun Tubbs, Bird from Bird and the Midnight Falcons have all met and made many songs together

Yeah hopefully he did . Haha ! Stevie is a genius and legend . But Rick is a legend too . Oh and when you get the chance , please send me the link in which Rick talked about this subject .

As a matter of fact,in the Jet Magazine article of Rick James' funeral,Stevie did attend and sing at Rick's funeral.Stevie is such a unselfish,caring person.Peace!
