Beyonce Says New Album Will Be A Mix Of Every Genre http://www.youtube.com/wa...r_embedded
It looks like Beyonce is finally creating a sound to call her own. The rising icon revealed to MTV News that her next studio effort will comprise a mix of her favourite genres of music, drawing inspiration from Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Beyonce is certainly setting the bar very high for herself. The artists that she named are among the most inventive acts in the industry so for her to capture the essence of their work and mix them would be an impressive feat. Hopefully, she finds a way to put her own twist on their sound and not simply repeat what has been done before as is the norm for most artists today including her. Perhaps the best aspect of her ‘B’Day’ project was the organic material that exemplified a respectable medium between the work of Tina Turner (her idol) and Prince. If Beyonce manages to craft something similar to that project but with more timeless material then she might create her best record to date. Could this new album be Beyonce’s artistic breakthrough in the vein of Mariah Carey’s ‘Daydream’/‘Butterfly’ or Michael Jackson’s ‘Off The Wall’/’Thriller’? The anticipation begins.

I'm gonna break into her house and steal her birth control pills. That'll do the trick.

That way nothing will look suspicious....that is until she's knocked up with 8 fetuses in her womb. That should DEFinitely do the trick. So i guess now that Rich Harrison got back in good graces with Amerie and she is mixing in some wacky across the board stuff, now Beyonce once again sees that lead and will follow and most likely get the praise of invention. Every genre? So is she going to make a polka tune? You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

The hype generation needs to succumb in the 2010s. For real. It's getting ridiculous now.
