That's the best that fuckin' crook could come up with??? "Hey man give me some of them blueberry pancakes, that hashbrown casserole, some scrambled eggs hard with cheese, some biscuits with gravy and oh yeah and that new Smokey album." I'd rather pour syrup all over his cd rather than wasting my neopolitan cocoanut bar and macaroon money buying or listen to that shit. [Edited 10/8/10 15:17pm]

I ate at "Cracker Barrel" last Friday. I was thinking to myself, something is getting on my damn nerves! It was Mr. Robinson's singing. |

It's wild because he was a capable vocalist in the '60s and the '70s (ESPECIALLY the late '50s and early '60s because he was a student of Nolan Strong and Clyde McPhatter) but I guess he got more shrill as time went on. |

Yes! That's the word! SHRILL!
Look, Robinson has never been my favorite falsetto singer but I could tolerate a brother. Now, I putting his singing up there with Chinese water torture. It pains me to say this but it's true. |

He was a better writer, composer, arranger and producer also than he was a vocalist. He could write more if he want but he's filthy rich (thanks to his "close" friendship with Mr. Gordy lol). |
