BTW, did you notice there are sunflowers on the table in the Lisa interview?

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I am just wathing it again and actually she says about that collaps in 1996 that tehre were different REPORTS out there and that she couldn´t figure it out. Didn´t she speak to the doctor?

And than when she says that he would seem high after certains visits, then she goes on it was after having injections for some dermatologist things that he needed, so why doesn´t it sound it the end as if he was simple junkie?

Sorry for draging this, but I just need to get my thoughts out.

I'm willing to bet good ol' Arnie was responsible for giving Michael injections to get him "high." (If we wanna call it that.) Numerous reports surfaced from those around MJ that he would go in to Arnie's office alert and normal, and come out loopy as hell. I also remember reading that he slept for an entire day there once. I can't help but think he is semi-responsible for Michael being in the state he was in, leading up to his death. And remember..Murray called Kline before he called the police. Just saying.

Oh, I didn´t know he called Kline. It makes sense what you are saying. I just can´t wait to see what´s gonna come out of the trial with Murray. When does it start? January?

Thanks for the scans of the magazine. That was a really great read. I remember during the symposium Ricky Lawson was talking about how they needed X amount of people to do something that it only took one of him to do. It seemed that to me, Michael trusted the previous bands a bit more, but was way more into the rehearsals during This Is It, since a lot of them were new.

I was wondering about the same thing in his post 80s work. It seems that he really wasn't in the studio as much with them. I wonder if it's because he trusted them enough to leave them to their own devices? I am interested in hearing that Apocalypse Now song though.

Though, there was an interesting quote in the article, where one of the drummers wanted Michael to go into more of a rock route that Prince was doing, at that time. I always did say that I wanted to Michael to have done more rock songs, because I thought that was some of his strongest material. Yet...as we had discussed before, I also liked the fact that he encompassed a lot of genres in his music. It made for a really interesting hybrid of sound, even if it's all based on dance-pop music.

Speaking of which I've seen 2 really jazzy/rock covers done for Smooth Criminal. It's an interesting direction to take the song imo.

Winfrey lands President Bush, Jackson's parents

CHICAGO – Former President George W. Bush and Michael Jackson's parents are among the big names "The Oprah Winfrey Show" has booked for the November ratings sweeps.

Harpo Productions released a schedule Friday, including a show featuring Bush discussing his memoir, "Decision Points," on Nov. 9 — the day of its release.

No date was given for the Jacksons' interview. The production company says Katherine Jackson will talk about her son's life from childhood stardom to his death. She'll be joined by her husband, Joe Jackson.

Singer and actress Barbra Streisand will appear for an interview and a rare performance Nov. 16.

On Nov. 2, Ricky Martin will talk about raising twin boys and his decision to come out as gay.

This is the 25th and final season of Winfrey's talk show.

Welcome to American MSM. As they say here: "Good news doesn't sell newspapers."

One huge example is MJ's trip to Africa. Compare the stories in the MSM and the one from Ebony. The stories are completely different.

Why Oprah Will Be Missed

A recent episode of Oprah with Lisa Marie Presley is the reason that Oprah Winfrey is going to be missed when her show goes off the air. No one else could have gotten those insights from the daughter of an icon who married another icon. From the 20th century into the 21st century , Lisa Marie Presley has the insight of fame that no one else could fathom. A talented performer herself, Lisa Marie could never imagine growing up that her life would have such a connection with what can cause artists to lose themselves in drugs, sycophants and doctors more interested in "socializing and being intimate" with their patients than treating them.

The interview with Lisa Marie Presley show was one of the best interviews ever broadcast on air. A look into celebrity and fame that could be the insight of years to come of the two biggest icons of the 20th century. Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson became so real to generations of people who watched Lisa Marie open herself up to love, life and setting the record straight for generations to come on her marriage to Michael Jackson.

Oprah Winfrey was as good as any interviewer to illuminate the subject she was speaking with. There was no agenda. There was nothing to try and manipulate. It was truth. And as we know, nothing is more powerful that seeing it. We have been so warped with "reality" television that when we truly witness it which happened, the importance of it could be lost.

Oprah, you will be missed. Not for all the gifts that you have given, but for the gift of the truth that you have illuminated on your shows. You will be missed for your connection with the soul of humanity.

Lisa Marie Presley was understood. Her father, Elvis Presley and her ex-husband, Michael Jackson, were laid to rest with understanding and empathy.

Celebrity was made human today. And Oprah Winfrey, one of the biggest celebrities of our generation, brought it out.

Here's what TMZor Entertainment Tonight would never get: Oprah Winfrey showed once again why she is the most trusted reporter in news today. She is a reporter. Like Walter Cronkite in his day, we look to her to give us the real story.
And she did. This is the show that should get the Emmy for what true reporting is. It's all about truth and the story.

Lisa Marie Presley and Oprah Winfrey. Perfection does not exist, because people are not perfect. However, sometimes a moment caught on television shows us a humanity that we all share. Michael Jackson was understood more tonight in a human level than in any performance he ever gave us. That is the gift of Oprah.

of course that's very uncanny that she was in primary relations with the two greatest superstars ever. Almost like it was fated or something. Anyway, i'm on board with most mike fans who really are protective of the man, that oprah is a two faced bitch. I was always an Elvis fan, even bigger fan of his than MJ's but I feel so much more protective about Mike, maybe because I grew up with him, maybe because I identify with him, maybe because he just needs more protection, but when people talk about Elvis I let it slide, Mike, I get angry. A couple guys laughed when I mentioned that "hurt" was in Michaels to do list of songs, I think they sensed my shift in mood, or hope they did. I hate anyone who ever hurt the man or spoke against him in death, I feel like sending a nasty post to Quincy who is a myspace friend, and would likely get me kicked off his list, but I don't care.

http://www.blogtalkradio....h-l-kunesh Pt.1

INFO: Patrick Treacy, is a cosmetic doctor and humanitarian from Dublin, Ireland,

“I first met Michael after his Santa Maria trial when he was living in Ireland (2006-2007),” said Treacy. "Michael had approached Treacy hoping he would take him on as a patient while there, to help him manage his dermatological conditions. From there, a professional relationship, as well as a friendship, blossomed."

Patrick Treacy did an interview on a radio show called "A Place In Your Heart" with Rev. Catherine Gross that Aired on September 24, 2010. So I'm a little late with this but, I just heard the interview and thought it was important info and wanted to share for those who may not have known this info?

The show was dedicated to the "Reflections on The Dance" website and the one who made the site and why she did it! During the interview Dr. Patrick Treacy phoned in! He wrote an article for the "Reflection on the dance" website about MJ and has talk through emails to the site maker!

He shared information about his experience with MJ and Propofol saying he was in the same situation with MJ and Propofol! He said MJ refused to used Propofol without a anesthetist and he has good evidence of this (graphic evidence!) The months that MJ was in Ireland and was friends with him he wrote one or two prescriptions for MJ that were for minor things like colds! None were for insomnia! He never seen drugs in MJ's home, always seen MJ in his full mental state and never sluggish! :clapping:

He expresses his agreement with the opinion of the owner of the radio show about how she thinks Murray did this on purpose leaving MJ alone to die! :bugeyed:mat:He shares that he might be called as a witness so he can't share a lot on the show and would testify to defend MJ in court! biggrin He can not believe MJ would do this to himself knowing MJ refuse things such as Propofol with out proper care in the past and doesn't think in two yrs MJ would all of a sudden changed his opinion on that! :agree:

He says that where he lives he too been offered 5 to 6 figures to sell Michael out in the media just like others have, <_< he refused of course and said there isn't anything bad to say about MJ anyway! He makes a point that this doesn't happen in just America!

He says he fears the trial cause he knows they will make MJ out to be a addict when he wasn't! sad

I truly hope Dr. Treacy is definitely called as a witness after hearing this info!

He also shares how MJ was a good, caring and funny person! Very talented and was good at playing guitar and piano :wild: and how knowledgeable and smart about many things MJ was that would surprise him! Things that he didn't even know about lol There is a Part Two! Everyone wanted to talk again. I haven't heard it yet! But, I will! And if I hear something of the same importance I will definitely share

Found this on another forum.

Wow REALLY annoying audio looping problem starts 24:20 "I knew he had a few dates" "I knew he had a few dates" "I knew he had a few dates" "I knew he had a few dates" "I knew he had a few dates" "I knew he had a few dates" - I'm about to set that shit to the Billie Jean drums.

But the sound on the stream went back to normal at 29:54.

Doesn't matter: It's all over Youtube now anyway.

Irena Medavoy clearly just graduated from journalism. Sounds too amateur.

Oprah is wack as fuck like everyone knows by now......but I'm gonna watch Katherine and Joe interview boxed

I would hope so! But I have a feeling this interview will be referenced a million times in the future and she will be turned into some saint.

Are we ready for Round 2?

In this photo taken Oct. 9, 2010 in Los Angeles, Katherine Jackson, mother of the late king of pop Michael Jackson, and Oprah Winfrey pose at the filming of an interview in which Jackson reflects on the life of her son from his childhood superstardom to recounting the day he passed away. The interview will air on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' sometime in November.

Apparently there might be a platinum version of Vision.

Wouldn't be shocking knowing Sony and how they love to do that these days.

If there is such a thing, looks like it might contain the stuff from

Dangerous: The Short Films and HIStory Continues DVD, and

maybe even those Bad promo spots. biggrin

This is all judging by the content in the trailer for it below.

Can anyone confirm this?

EmbattledWarri
or

I've had a rough time getting over the whole MJ debacle, and refused to speak on it for a year or so.

I never really "liked" Lisa Marie, but I always knew that the relationship was far more than a marriage of convenience. During that era Michael smiled a lot more, and looked genuinely happy. Something you really didn't see much, unless he was with his kids.

So say what you want, that she's only doing it to promote her CD.

I just don't think she's that low.

For a brief period she shared a life with one of the most recognized individuals in the planet, redolent of her father. And its happened twice in her life.

She's been through a lot, and she's harboring a lot of demons.

Respect that.

Just imagine if Lisa had been around during that awful Bashit documentry.

i can't help but think Michael would still be here today, and things would have

been a lot better for his life and career. That documentry really was the begining

of the end.

Not blaming Lisa..just throwing out my thoughts.
