Bernard Wright - Haboglabotribin (1981)
He was all of 16 years old. Always amazed me what a mature player he was even that young.
Seems like he should have had a MUCH bigger career than his 3 studio LP's. Was sure a good time while it lasted though
From his debut, (as with most every cut on the album) here he plays with some of the musical titans of the time...Don Blackman, Marcus Miller, Dennis Chambers, among others from the Jamaica Queens mob.

YESSS!
My fave song from that album along with Weldon Irvine's "Music Is The Key".
Don Blackman's raise hell between 1979 and 1983,,,,that song is only a small portion of his genius.

He did such a great job on that track.
I tend to always play this album & Don's debut back to back, you cant get much better than that Life has a way of making you live it. . . .

I'm still torn between his version and Weldon's after all these years...
They compliment each other, given that both are two different faces for the same coin,,,one has a "dark" mood, the other is the opposite.
