The original is obviously better but I can stomach it. There's just some covers out there that are so painful it's not even funny.

Did yall hear the Dream's version of Aaliyah's 'One In A Million' a couple months ago? confused

I swear if I ever see Teddy DREAM Ruxpin in person I will kick him straight in the nutsack....twice! Don't never mess with Aaliyah's shit mad The only person allowed is Missy! I'm kinda feeling Drake's version. What can I say? Dude's hot! I have entirely different plans for his nutsack cool

mmm hmmm

What makes you think I'm not a fan as well?

Why do people bring up *sales* in an argument about quality? Especially when talking about albums previous to around 2001 - when more people were buying albums off of faith and name alone, and the ability to preview albums beforehand was not as easy as it is today. I'll NEVER understand that...

FanMail was going to hit #1 even if it was complete and total trash because, as you said, they were out of sight for 5 years and were heavily anticipated. They were obviously a staple of the 90s, and came out strong with "No Scrubs."

And "prove me wrong?" On my opinion? eek If you don't agree, that's cool...but c'mon now...

I'm not afraid to say I never really cared for the album *in its entirety* back in '99 and, hearing it today, I still don't think it gels like CrazySexyCool. FanMail was ahead-of-its-time with the futuristic sound but between the lifeless midtempos like "Lovesick," "My Life," and "Shout," and sweet ballads like "I Miss You So Much" contrasting with over-the-top ghettoness like "I'm Good At Being Bad" its not as great a listen as the legendary, flawless album that came before it. There's no way in evillol I could agree with that.

Well, the skittery high-end on the original did nothing for me but Drake's whole inst is filtered/muffled entirely, and that bugs me too. lol

Sounds a skit where the beat is playing inside a car with the windows rolled up, and he's standing outside singing.

Could we possibly put Drake in the car and clog the exhaust pipe? lol
